There are not 50 verified Thanksgiving-week deals to list yet. As of October 4, 2026, Best Buy has announced Black Friday’s date and broad categories, but not itemized offers. Amazon’s confirmed October event is Prime Big Deal Days, not its Thanksgiving-week sale. Here’s what shoppers can verify now, what last year’s promotions can—and can’t—tell you, and how to judge a deal before spending.
What Thanksgiving and Black Friday deals are confirmed for 2026?
Best Buy’s official Black Friday page identifies November 27, 2026 as Black Friday and names categories including smartphones, computers, gaming, appliances, TVs, smart-home products, and cameras. It does not currently give item-level prices or identify specific products on sale. The date is confirmed; particular deals are not. Check Best Buy’s 2026 Black Friday page for updates.

Best Buy’s September 14 holiday preview also points to gaming, computing, and home-theater savings, along with membership rewards and offers, but it does not provide a Thanksgiving-week deal list. Read Best Buy’s holiday preview.
That means a list of 50 current, priced offers would be misleading at this point: the available official announcements do not establish 50 live 2026 deals, their sale windows, or their terms. Treat announced categories as places to watch, not proof that any particular item is discounted.

Amazon’s October sale is a separate event
Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days returns on October 6–7, 2026. Its announcement describes early offers across more than 35 categories and retailer-promoted savings of up to 45% on select devices and bundles. Those figures apply to the specified Prime event and offer scope; they are not evidence of Thanksgiving or Black Friday prices. Check the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days announcement for event details and eligibility.
Use the October event only as a chance to assess a product’s actual price and model—not as a promise that it will be cheaper, or available at the same price, later in November. If you are considering a purchase, compare the exact model and final checkout total with your budget and with the price you would otherwise pay.

How to tell whether a holiday deal is actually worthwhile
A discount percentage alone does not show whether an offer is a good buy. Before ordering, compare the details that affect what you will pay and receive:
- Final checkout price: Include applicable delivery charges and any coupon or membership requirement. Compare the amount you will actually pay, not only a headline discount.
- Exact model and specifications: Check the model number, size, capacity, included accessories, and other features. Similar product names can conceal different versions.
- Offer window: Verify the start and end time on the current listing. A date announced for one retailer or sale event does not establish another retailer’s schedule.
- Eligibility: Look for membership, account, coupon, or bundle conditions before relying on a displayed price.
- Stock and fulfillment: Confirm that the item is available to order, and check its delivery estimate or pickup availability for your location.
- Returns and price matching: Read the current rules for the specific product and retailer. Do not assume a prior-year guarantee or an advertised sale price will qualify.
For a costly purchase, save the listing and its terms when you buy. That gives you a record of the model, price, and conditions if you need to check an order or review the retailer’s return policy.

Where to focus your Thanksgiving deal watchlist
Use the announced categories to build a short list around purchases you already expect to make. Best Buy currently points shoppers toward technology and appliances; Amazon’s 2025 holiday announcement and Target’s 2025 fact sheet show that past holiday promotions also included home, kitchen, toys, books, décor, and other seasonal goods. Those historical categories are useful for planning, not confirmation of 2026 discounts.
