Grant Goodale joins Ryder from Convoy
GeekWire reported that Grant Goodale announced he was joining Ryder as chief product and technology officer. Goodale co-founded Convoy, the Seattle trucking marketplace startup that shut down in 2023, and served as its chief technology officer before moving into a chief experience officer role. He stepped down in 2023.
Goodale wrote on LinkedIn, “So I’m back doing what I love — working at the intersection of the latest technology and the business that makes all of modern life possible.” He also said, “The team was looking for someone to fill Andrew’s sizable shoes.”
Shipium promotes Geoff Tamman to CFO
Seattle ecommerce startup Shipium promoted Geoff Tamman to chief financial officer. This was an internal promotion: he had joined the company in 2022 and most recently served as vice president of finance and operations. Before Shipium, Tamman spent more than 12 years at Amazon.

Shipium’s press-release index includes later leadership news, including a June 2026 promotion of David Panitz to chief revenue officer. That announcement does not confirm Tamman’s current role.
Graham & Walker hires Ryan Hughes
Venture capital firm Graham & Walker hired Ryan Hughes as chief of staff. GeekWire reported that Hughes was based in New York City and had spent nearly five years at Goldman Sachs. The story also noted that founder Leslie Feinzaig had written about the firm’s “old school hiring process” for the position.
