Taylor Swift’s thigh chain at the 2025 Grammy Awards was custom jewelry by designer Lorraine Schwartz, created with Swift and stylist Joseph Cassell—not a standard retail piece. You can shop lookalike styles, but treat them as inspired-by alternatives: the charm, materials and fit may differ from the original, and current listing details need checking.
What thigh chain did Taylor Swift wear?
Swift wore a delicate gold chain with ruby details and a small T charm, visible below the hem of her red dress at the 2025 Grammys. Lorraine Schwartz described the design as a collaboration with Swift and Cassell. In Vanity Fair’s 2025 report, Schwartz said, “It really was her collab with me.”
Schwartz said the thigh-chain detail used 15 carats of natural rubies. Vanity Fair separately reported that Swift’s earrings and rings featured more than 60 carats of natural rubies; that larger figure does not refer to the chain.
What does the T charm mean?
Vanity Fair’s account did not confirm the intended meaning of the T with Swift or Schwartz. Interpretations, including a possible personal reference, remain speculation. A later Marie Claire report described the piece as personalized for Swift and Travis Kelce, but that is the writer’s interpretation rather than confirmation from the designer.

Marie Claire later reported that Swift wore her custom piece as a necklace. That shows how she styled her own jewelry; it does not mean every thigh chain is designed or safe to wear around the neck. Follow the product’s intended-use guidance rather than assuming a leg chain can be repurposed.
