Target does not have one universal promo code for every shopper. Offers may be Target Circle deals that apply automatically, coupons or bonuses that you must activate, or an eligible coupon code you enter during checkout. No live code is verified here; check Target’s current offers and confirm the discount in your order summary before placing an order.
Where to find current Target promo codes and offers
Start with Target’s Target Circle offers and promotions page. Target Circle is free to join. Sign in to your Target account online or in the app to review available offers; each offer states whether it is valid online, in store, or both. Some Circle deals apply automatically when you identify as a member, while coupons and bonuses may need to be activated or selected for a transaction.

Offers can vary by account, location, and terms. The promotions page currently describes a 5% discount on eligible purchases made with a qualifying Target Circle Card and free-shipping conditions that include a $35 qualifying-order threshold after discounts. These terms are subject to exclusions and other conditions, so check the live offer rather than treating either as a universal or permanent benefit. Circle Card benefits are separate from free Target Circle membership; a card is not required for every Circle offer.
How to apply a Target promo code online

Enter an accepted coupon code during checkout. In the Target app, look in the potential savings or discounts area. On Target.com, use the promo-code field by the order summary. A code may be alphanumeric.

Check the order summary before submitting. Confirm that the expected discount appears and that the final price reflects the offer. If it does not, troubleshoot before placing the order; Target says coupons cannot be applied to prior purchases.

Not every Target offer uses a code. Circle deals may apply automatically once you identify as a member, and some offers require activation rather than code entry. Follow the individual offer’s instructions.
What is Target’s coupon policy?
Target distinguishes manufacturer coupons from Target offers, and each coupon or offer has its own terms and product-match requirements. Target’s policy allows, per item, one manufacturer coupon, one Target category offer, and one Target item-level offer to be combined, subject to the terms of each offer.

Target does not accept expired coupons. The product details must match the coupon, and coupons cannot be applied to a purchase that has already been completed. Target may refuse or limit coupon use. Circle offers can also have account, transaction, quantity, location, and online-versus-in-store restrictions. Read the terms attached to the specific offer.

Check these common causes in order:
- The offer expired: Check its end date and any time or transaction limits.
- The item does not match: Confirm the brand and any specified size, quantity, color, flavor, or other product details.
- The offer is for another channel or location: Verify that it applies to your selected online or in-store purchase and location.
- The offer needs activation or a member account: Sign in, identify as a Circle member, and activate or select the offer if its terms require it.
- The order was already placed: Target says coupons cannot be applied retroactively to prior purchases.
- The terms limit use: Check account, transaction, or quantity restrictions and whether the offer can be combined with other discounts.
If the discount still does not appear, review Target’s promotion and coupon help and the offer terms. Treat codes from unaffiliated coupon sites as unverified unless they work in your own checkout under the offer’s conditions.

Target Circle and Circle Card are different
Target Circle is the free membership for deals and bonuses. In stores, you can identify as a member using the phone number on your account or the app barcode; online, sign in to your Target account. A Target Circle Card is a separate payment option with its own eligible-purchase discount and rules. You do not need a Circle Card simply to access every Target Circle deal.
