Taco Bell’s Decades Y2K Menu was a limited-time 2025 promotion featuring five returning favorites: the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, Double Decker Taco, 7-Layer Burrito, Chili Cheese Burrito and Caramel Apple Empanada. The company announced prices of $2.49 or $2.99 and a nationwide launch for September 9, 2025; those were campaign prices and dates, not a guarantee that an item is available or costs the same at a local restaurant today.
What was on Taco Bell’s Decades Y2K Menu?
Taco Bell’s August 28, 2025 announcement described five items associated with its 2000s-era menu. The lineup included savory tacos and burritos as well as a sweet pastry:

These are the prices in Taco Bell’s 2025 announcement. The company said prices applied at participating U.S. locations for a limited time, and could vary by location; delivery prices could be higher, and supplies could run out.
When did the Y2K menu launch?
Taco Bell scheduled the nationwide launch for September 9, 2025. Registered Rewards members who were logged in could get in-app early access to the Caramel Apple Empanada from September 2 through September 8 at participating U.S. locations, while supplies lasted. Those dates have passed.

Is the Y2K menu available now?
The 2025 Y2K menu was described as a limited-time offer, so its original announcement does not establish current availability. Taco Bell announced another Decades campaign on August 18, 2026: its four-item Decades #TBTB lineup was set to begin August 20 for a limited time and included a return of the Caramel Apple Empanada. That later promotion does not confirm that the empanada—or any of the five Y2K items—is on the menu at a particular restaurant in October 2026.
For current local availability and pricing, check the Taco Bell app or contact your restaurant. The app or restaurant’s menu is more relevant to a present-day order than the historical prices in the 2025 announcement.

What the campaign does—and does not—say
The campaign presented five menu items and said each was priced at $3 or less at participating locations for a limited time. Taco Bell Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery called the era a source of iconic items and said the Crunchwrap Supreme remained one of the company’s best-sellers. That is an attributed company statement, not independently reported sales data for the Y2K items.
