- Existing members: T-Mobile lists three or more lines and at least five years of tenure on a T-Mobile postpaid plan.
Plan and line eligibility can depend on account details. Before ordering, sign in and check the offer tied to your account, or ask T-Mobile to identify the promotion and its code. If you are adding a line without porting a number, confirm that this satisfies the particular plan path. The stated Better Value terms for new members specifically include eligible port-ins.

How “free” works—and what you pay
The phone is generally financed, and promotional credits are applied to the bill over 24 months to offset eligible device payments. The advertised device value is therefore delivered over time, not as an upfront discount. T-Mobile says the line must remain active and in good standing, and the full benefit depends on receiving the credits for the full term.
- Wireless service: You still pay the monthly charge for the qualifying plan and new line.
- Taxes and connection charge: T-Mobile lists taxes and a $35 device connection charge for well-qualified customers.
- Other possible charges: Check checkout for any applicable activation, upgrade, shipping, or support fees rather than assuming they are waived.
- Extras: Accessories and optional protection are not part of the free-phone offer.
- Financing terms: If you are not considered well qualified, the down payment or financing treatment may differ.
The $25 activation-fee waiver mentioned in coverage published September 15, 2025 was a limited-time claim, not the current fee language shown on T-Mobile’s offer page. What if you cancel, change plans, or upgrade early?
Leaving before the 24 credits are complete can mean losing future credits while still owing a remaining device balance. Changing to a plan that no longer qualifies, letting the line fall out of good standing, or upgrading early may also affect credits or the installment balance. The precise result depends on the promotion and financing terms attached to your account, so ask T-Mobile for the consequences before making a change.
For example, if you leave after 10 months, do not assume you will continue to receive the remaining 14 credits. Ask for the payoff amount and the value of credits that would stop before canceling. A return is governed by T-Mobile’s return rules; do not treat it as a guaranteed way to erase every charge. Confirm the applicable device-unlock policy separately if you need to use the phone with another carrier.

How to check the deal before you order
- Open T-Mobile’s Google phone deals page and sign in if needed.
- Confirm the exact Pixel 10 model and storage shown in your cart. Do not assume the 256GB version or a Pro-family model gets the same credit.
- Verify the qualifying plan, new-line requirement, and any port-in or tenure conditions that apply to your account.
- Review the installment agreement and checkout disclosure for the monthly device payment, monthly credit, taxes, the $35 connection charge, and any other fees.
- Save the offer details, promotion name or code, order confirmation, and installment agreement. Check the first two bills for the credits.
- If the credits are missing after two billing cycles, contact T-Mobile with those records. Before a plan change, cancellation, or early upgrade, get the effect on remaining credits and device balance confirmed.
Is this better than buying the Pixel 10 unlocked?
Compare the total cost of service and phone over two years, not just the advertised device price:
- T-Mobile route: 24 months of qualifying service, plus taxes and fees, minus the promotional device credits.
- Unlocked route: the phone purchase price plus 24 months of the service plan you would otherwise choose.
If you already want a qualifying T-Mobile line for the full credit period, the promotion may substantially reduce what you pay for the phone. If you would add an unnecessary line, move to a more expensive plan, or leave before the credits finish, the service cost and lost credits can outweigh the device savings.

Google’s Store listed the Pixel 10 at $799 before a $200 promotion, or $599, in a captured offer that ended July 26, 2026. Those are historical comparison figures, not a claim that the discount is available now. Check Google’s Pixel 10 page for its current price and configuration; Google’s listing includes 128GB and 256GB options. Buying unlocked can offer more carrier flexibility, while T-Mobile’s deal spreads the device benefit across credits and keeps you subject to its qualifying-line terms.

T-Mobile’s headline names the standard Pixel 10. Google lists the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold as distinct models, so do not read “Pixel 10” as a promise that the Pro models are included. Nor should you assume a higher-storage version receives the same credit. Check the precise model, capacity, and credit amount on the order before submitting it. Google’s Pixel 10 configuration page shows the storage choices; the offer’s model eligibility remains subject to T-Mobile’s checkout terms.
