Systems Limited reported consolidated profit after taxation of Rs 7,944.22 million for the nine months ended 30 September 2025, up 46.3% from Rs 5,431.83 million in the same period of 2024. The Pakistan Stock Exchange filing, submitted on 27 October 2025, marks the interim results unaudited. The increase is in profit—not revenue—and covers nine months, not the full year.
How Systems Limited’s nine-month results changed
The figures below compare the nine months ended 30 September 2025 with the corresponding nine months of 2024. They are consolidated results, which include the group rather than the standalone parent company.
| Measure | Nine months 2025 | Nine months 2024 | Year-over-year change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | Rs 57,419.27 million | Rs 48,309.68 million | +18.9% |
| Gross profit | Rs 15,424.12 million | Rs 11,584.33 million | +33.1% |
| Operating profit | Rs 8,456.39 million | Rs 6,368.31 million | +32.8% |
| Profit after taxation | Rs 7,944.22 million | Rs 5,431.83 million | +46.3% |
| Basic earnings per share | Rs 5.42 | Rs 3.71 | +46.0% |
| Diluted earnings per share | Rs 5.36 | Rs 3.69 | +45.4% |
The filing’s exact net-profit increase is 46.3%, commonly rounded to 46% in a headline. Revenue grew more slowly, at 18.9%, while gross and operating profit rose faster than revenue.
What the profit figure does—and does not—compare
Consolidated versus standalone results
The 46.3% headline figure is for consolidated profit after taxation. Systems Limited also reported standalone profit after taxation of Rs 5,994.71 million, up 42.8% from the corresponding 2024 period. Standalone revenue rose 18.4% to Rs 33,062.04 million, gross profit increased 25.1% to Rs 8,828.00 million, and operating profit increased 29.0% to Rs 5,573.10 million. Standalone basic EPS was Rs 4.09, compared with Rs 2.87, a 42.5% increase.

Reported versus currency-adjusted standalone growth
The directors’ review gives a separate 29.6% increase in standalone profit after taxation after adjusting for currency fluctuations. That is an adjusted comparison, not the reported 42.8% increase; the two figures use different bases and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Nine months versus a full year
The company also said nine-month 2025 operating profit and net profit were respectively 3.8% and 6.5% higher than the corresponding full-year 2024 totals. This compares nine months with twelve months, so it describes the scale of the reported totals rather than like-for-like annual growth.

What management said was behind the increase
In its directors’ review, the company attributed the improvement to business growth, enhanced operating efficiency, improved productivity, better billing rates and cost optimization, especially of fixed costs. These are management’s explanations; the interim filing reports the results but does not independently establish how much each factor contributed.
The directors reported gross and operating margins of 29.7% and 16.3% for the quarter, respectively, and noted that the quarter had more days than the preceding quarter. They also reported a quarterly exchange loss of Rs 249.50 million, following exchange gains in earlier periods. The filing therefore describes currency movements alongside other operating factors, not as the sole explanation for profit growth.
Which businesses and regions the filing highlighted
The segment commentary identifies banking and financial services as the largest revenue contributor, telecommunications as the fastest-growing segment, and retail and technology as the most profitable. It also says growth was strong across all five geographic regions, APAC was recovering from a slowdown, and Pakistan recorded positive operating profit both in the quarter and across the nine-month period. The cited commentary gives no segment revenue table or precise regional growth rates, so these statements do not establish the size of each segment’s contribution.

The result is a 2025 interim report, not a statement of current performance. The PSX profile lists subsequent 2026 interim disclosures, including half-year results for the period ended 30 June 2026. The nine-month 2025 figures should therefore be read as a dated reporting-period comparison, not as the latest available results.
