Short answer: The frequently shared Reddit list of Swagbucks search links is a historical collection of query ideas and URLs, not a current or guaranteed way to trigger rewards. Swagbucks Search can still award random bonuses of 1 to 1,000 SB, but older links may return errors or no reward. Collector’s Bills are separate, time-limited themed promotions; their availability and values depend on the promotion Swagbucks is running.
What the Reddit list actually is
The r/SwagBucks post is a community-maintained list assembled from Swagbucks social posts. Each entry generally contains a search URL and a parenthetical label such as a holiday, food, historical figure or pop-culture subject.

Treat the list as a set of historical shortcuts and search-topic ideas. The labels are not documented by Swagbucks as special keywords, and commenters report that the search wording has no guaranteed relationship to the size of a reward. Later comments also report that many older URLs produce errors or no longer work.

How Swagbucks Search wins work
Random SB bonuses
Swagbucks describes Search as a normal search engine that may award an SB win along the way. Its help guidance says bonuses can range from 1 SB to 1,000 SB per search. These bonuses do not count toward the Daily Goal.
There is no reliable three-win formula
Nothing in the cited official guidance guarantees three search wins in one day, a particular number of searches, a specific query, or a minimum payout. A search can return no bonus even when the page loads normally.

Use Search like a normal search engine
Swagbucks instructs members to use its search engine as they would any other search website and click only results that genuinely interest them. Do not repeatedly manufacture clicks, use bots, or run automated programs. Those practices can violate program rules and put an account or rewards at risk.
Collector’s Bills explained
Collector’s Bills are themed search-win rewards recorded in a Collector’s Bill ledger. They are not a permanent reward schedule; Swagbucks introduces and ends individual sets as promotions change.
Rank #3
- This item contains 10 separate $5 gift cards
- Starbucks Cards redeemable at most SB locations
- It’s a great way to treat a friend. It’s a convenient way to pre-pay for your own regular purchases.
- Physical gift cards are delivered active via mail.
- This item is not eligible for refund, resale, or return.
Example: the Road Trip promotion
In the official Road Trip promotion, the six bills had these values:
| Bill | Value |
|---|---|
| Bill 1 | 6 SB |
| Bill 2 | 7 SB |
| Bill 3 | 9 SB |
| Bill 4 | 13 SB |
| Bill 5 | 18 SB |
| Bill 6 | 24 SB |
| Completion bonus | 20 SB |
Duplicates were possible. Completing all six in that promotion added the 20 SB completion bonus, but that example should not be read as a promise that the same bills, values or bonus are currently offered.

How to check a live set
- Sign in to Swagbucks and open the current Search or Collector’s Bills area shown in your account.
- Read the promotion’s dates, bill values and completion terms before searching.
- Use ordinary, relevant searches and check the ledger after a qualifying win.
- Stop relying on the promotion once its stated end date has passed; a historical set may remain visible in community posts after it is over.
Choosing between the main approaches
| Approach | What it can do | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Official Swagbucks Search | Provides the supported route for possible random SB wins. | Rewards, frequency and eligibility are not guaranteed. |
| Reddit links and query lists | Offers ideas for searches and navigation to pages shared by members. | Historical links may be broken, outdated or tied to expired promotions. |
| Normal manual searching | Matches Swagbucks’ instruction to search and click genuinely interesting results. | It cannot ensure a win or a particular amount. |
| Collector’s Bill completion | May add a set-completion bonus during an active themed promotion. | Sets are temporary, duplicates can occur, and the values change by promotion. |
What SB is worth
SB is Swagbucks’ digital rewards currency. Available SB can be exchanged through the redemption methods and gift cards offered in your account. Under Swagbucks’ terms, unredeemed rewards have no monetary value outside those program redemptions, so an SB balance is not the same as cash in a bank account.
Troubleshooting an old link or missing win
The URL returns an error
Try opening Swagbucks directly and performing a normal search instead. A Reddit URL can be obsolete, malformed or tied to a page that is no longer published.
Best Value
- This item can be redeemed on eShop only. This item cannot be redeemed on the Wii Shop
- The perfect gift for anyone who loves to play—including you. Choose from over 1,000 new, classic and indie games – delivered directly to your Nintendo Switch, Wii U or Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
- Nintendo eShop Digital Cards are redeemable only through the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
- Digital Card balances can be shared across Nintendo Switch, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but may only be used on a single Nintendo eShop account.
The search works but no SB appears
That is consistent with random-win mechanics. Confirm that you are signed in, use the official Search interface, and avoid rapid repetitive or automated activity. Do not treat one successful report as evidence of a guaranteed result.
A Collector’s Bill is missing
Check the promotion’s active dates and ledger rules. A duplicate may be recorded without advancing the set, and an expired promotion may no longer award new bills.
You expected progress toward the Daily Goal
Official guidance says Search bonuses do not count toward the Daily Goal, so a search win may increase your SB balance without changing that goal.
