UMS Integration (SGX: 558) is a Singapore-based manufacturing-services company whose core business is making and integrating equipment and components for semiconductor original equipment manufacturers. Its FY2025 results showed modest growth overall, but different trends across components, integrated systems and aerospace. Investors watching the shares should distinguish reported results from management’s customer-demand outlook and track the company’s interim results and proposed share placement.
What does UMS Integration do?
UMS is a strategic integration and manufacturing-services provider, not a chip designer or consumer semiconductor brand. Its main business is contract manufacturing for front-end semiconductor equipment, including complex electromechanical assemblies, final-testing devices and modular or integrated systems. The group also makes high-precision aircraft parts through subsidiaries and distributes industrial metals and related materials. It reports three business groupings: Semiconductors, Aerospace and Others, with Others mainly comprising materials distribution. The company says it has production facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and California, USA. UMS company overview

What is the outlook for UMS Integration?
In its FY2025 CEO statement, UMS said both of its key global customers had forecast robust demand growth for 2026 and 2027. That is management’s account of customer expectations, not a guarantee of orders, sales or earnings. The statement also referred to a renewed three-year integrated-system contract and new products being developed with a new key customer. Investors can watch whether such customer demand and product development translate into reported orders and revenue. FY2025 CEO statement

1H FY2026 results
SGX records that UMS filed half-year results for the six months ended 30 June 2026 on 13 August 2026. Proposed share placement and share count
UMS’s investor-relations page listed a proposal to place up to 52,941,100 new ordinary shares. Notices dated 5 October 2026 and 7 October 2026 concerned approval in principle and Bursa Securities approval, respectively. Check the latest company announcement for the final status before assessing any change in the share count. UMS announcements
Bonus shares and dividends
The company reported completing a one-for-four bonus share issue in January 2026. It proposed a final dividend of 2.0 Singapore cents per share for FY2025 and said total dividends proposed and declared for that year were 5.0 Singapore cents per share. Confirm the relevant approval and payment status in current filings; a proposed dividend is not the same as a completed payment. UMS announcements

Aerospace revenue and production capacity
Aerospace revenue declined 7% in FY2025, unlike the 5% growth reported for the semiconductor business. Subsequent results can show whether that divergence persists. Capacity and capital requirements also matter to a manufacturing-services business, but the FY2025 revenue figures alone do not establish what future investment will be needed or its effect on returns.

- Compare semiconductor component and integrated-system sales across like-for-like reporting periods.
- Separate reported orders and results from customer forecasts, new-product development commentary and industry projections.
- Review interim financial statements for margins, cash flow and balance-sheet changes, rather than relying on revenue and profit headlines alone.
- Check corporate announcements for the final placement terms and any resulting change in shares outstanding.
