When was the Steam Summer Sale 2025?
Steam announced a two-week sale running June 26 to July 10, 2025, with the event ending at 10 a.m. Pacific. The dates are historical, not a schedule for a future sale. Steam’s announcement described it as “a full TWO WEEKS of sales on games of all kinds.”

Did Stellar Blade and HELLDIVERS 2 debut during the sale?
No. The sale and the games’ Steam release dates are separate events:
| Game | Steam release date | How it relates to the sale |
|---|---|---|
| Stellar Blade | June 11, 2025 | Its PC version arrived about two weeks before the sale began. Steam describes it as a single-player action-adventure game. |
| HELLDIVERS 2 | February 8, 2024 | It was already on Steam more than a year before the 2025 sale. It is a co-op shooter; its listing also identifies a third-party PlayStation Network account requirement. |
The dates and listing details come from the games’ Steam product pages: Stellar Blade and HELLDIVERS 2.

Were the games available in over 100 countries?
The available reporting does not verify that both games were newly available in over 100 countries. PC Gamer reported on May 19, 2025, that Stellar Blade faced restrictions in 130 countries ahead of its PC release. That figure describes the reported scope of pre-release restrictions; it is not a count of countries where the game later launched or could be purchased.
On June 13, 2025, PC Gamer reported that Sony removed regional restrictions on several Steam games, including HELLDIVERS 2. That report does not establish a precise post-change country count for either game, or show that both debuted in the same number of countries at the same time. See PC Gamer’s reports on Stellar Blade’s reported restrictions and Sony’s reported removal of restrictions.

Regional access can change, so a 2025 report alone cannot confirm whether a game is currently purchasable where you live. Check the live Steam listing for your country and review any account requirements shown on the product page before buying.
