When was the 2024 Steam Summer Sale?
Steam’s sale began June 27 and ended July 11, 2024. Bohemia Interactive specified the hours as 10:00 a.m. Pacific on June 27 through 10:00 a.m. Pacific on July 11. Steam described discounts across thousands of games, selected extra-deep discounts, and free daily sticker drops in its June 27 announcement.
All prices and discount percentages below refer to this past event. They do not establish current prices or availability.

- DayZ: 50% off.
- Arma Reforger: 25% off.
- Arma 3: 90% off.
- Arma 3 Apex: 60% off.
- Arma 3 Contact: 60% off.
- Arma 3 S.O.G. Prairie Fire: 60% off.
- Silica: 20% off.
- Someday You’ll Return: Director’s Cut: 50% off.
The post also listed bundle discounts: Arma 3 Ultimate Edition at 15% off, Arma 3 Apex Edition at 15% off, and Arma 3 Contact Edition at 10% off. These were selected offers from one publisher, not a survey of all Steam discounts.

Steam Deck LCD hardware offer
Steam announced 15% off the 64GB and 512GB Steam Deck LCD models through the end of the 2024 sale. This was a limited-time Steam promotion, not a current price offer. Windows Central also compared Steam Deck prices at Amazon during the event, but those historical comparisons do not confirm present stock or pricing.

The same roundup described the Steam Deck Dock as a way to connect the handheld to a TV or monitor. It was a setup accessory, not an offer identified as part of the Summer Sale.

A large percentage discount does not automatically make a purchase good value. Before buying, weigh the game’s fit and likely use against its cost, and check whether it will work on your hardware.

- Gameplay fit: Check the genre and recent player reviews to see whether the game suits what you want to play.
- Price context: Compare the sale price with other sellers and, where available, the game’s price history. The cited coverage does not verify lowest-ever prices for these titles.
- Hardware fit: Read the system requirements for your PC. If you plan to play on Steam Deck, check compatibility separately; a PC game’s discount does not establish that it runs well on the handheld.
- Bundle value: Add up whether the included games or downloadable content are things you actually want. A bundle is not a saving if its extras go unused.
- Timing: Wishlist alerts can help you notice future discounts without treating an old sale price as a current offer.
What the deal list can—and cannot—tell you
Steam’s announcement confirms the event’s scale and hardware promotion, while publisher and editorial posts document selected game offers. Together, they provide examples of worthwhile-looking discounts from 2024, but not an exhaustive Steam catalog or an independently verified ranking of the best deals across the whole store.
