What were the Steam Spring Sale 2025 prices?
Mashable’s March 18, 2025 deal report, republished by Yahoo, listed the following US Steam prices. The source described each price against a previously listed price; it is a secondary report, not an official archived Steam pricing record.
| Game | Reported US sale price (March 18, 2025) | Previously listed price | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hogwarts Legacy | $14.99 | $59.99 | $45.00 less, about 75% off |
| Diablo IV | $27.49 | $49.99 | $22.50 less, about 45% off |
| Baldur’s Gate 3 | $47.99 | $59.99 | $12.00 less, about 20% off |
Prices and comparisons are the US amounts reported on that date. They should not be treated as current prices or assumed to apply to other countries, editions, or storefronts. Mashable’s report republished by Yahoo.
When did the sale run?
Steam announced that the Spring Sale was on through March 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Its announcement said, “The Steam Spring Sale is on now through March 20th at 10am PT!” Steam’s March 13 announcement confirms the end time; a contemporaneous publisher post gives the March 13–20 sale window.

Why were these games discounted?
Steam describes seasonal sales as broad events that can feature many kinds of games. That does not mean every game is included or receives a discount. Steamworks documentation says Steam-wide seasonal sales take place four times a year and that games released at least 30 days before an event may be eligible to participate with a discount. This is general guidance, not confirmation of the terms or discount for any specific title. Steamworks discount guidance.
