Where Staples Bagels opened
PerthNow reported on October 24, 2024, that Staples Bagels had opened earlier that month on South Terrace in South Fremantle. The report placed it next to Two Stacks, a burger business that had recently opened in the same local strip. A January 2026 West Australian travel feature also included Staples Bagels as a South Fremantle destination, noting that the shady seats were occupied during the writer’s visit.
Address listings do not use a consistent format: the local coverage gives 309c South Terrace, while Uber Eats lists 3/176-238 Marine Terrace. Because those details may reflect different address conventions, confirm the location with the venue before setting out. The Uber Eats listing is a third-party source whose address, menu and availability can change.
What the opening-era menu included
PerthNow’s October 2024 report described filled bagels, open bagels, coffee, cookies and sides. It named these filled bagel options:

The open bagels in the report included smoked salmon, smashed avocado and garden salad. Sides included potato gems, crisps and pickles. These are historical menu details, not confirmation that every item is still offered.
What the report said about a vegan option
The opening report said diners could remove cheese from four veggie bagels for a vegan option. That description applies to the reported menu at the time; it does not establish the current menu, ingredients, preparation practices or controls for cross-contact. Ask the venue directly about present dietary options and handling.

Coffee and later local context
GESHA Coffee Co.’s July 2026 case study says it supplies coffee wholesale to Staples Bagels and Tinsmith Garage, and provides equipment servicing, technical support and barista training. The supplier’s account names Pele Liascos in its description of the venue’s development.
