What the Harbor Square financing covers
CRE MarketBeat reported on October 5, 2026, that the mortgage covers Harbor Square, a 165,114-square-foot office campus at 700 and 850 Canal Street in Stamford. The report identifies Bank of Montreal (BMO) as lender and describes the financing as a permanent mortgage. CRE MarketBeat’s transaction report credits Connect CRE as the original article source.
The report does not include a loan document or property record for independent verification. Its transaction details should therefore be read as reported information, not as independently confirmed mortgage terms.
Who arranged and participated in the deal
Avison Young arranged the financing for an investor group led by Mountain Development Corp. The report names Avison Young principals Scott Singer and Andy Singer, executive director Kevin Swartz, and senior director Jeff Moroch as leading the assignment, working with Mountain Development Corp. president Michael Seeve. BMO representatives Rich Bianchi and Rick Grassey are also named.
