The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the final result for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination, 2024, on 20 October 2025. SSC later issued a revised final-result notice dated 26 November 2025, so candidates should check that revised notice first and confirm their roll number and allocation in the official list.

Open the revised SSC final-result notice (26 November 2025). The original final-result notice (20 October 2025) is also available for comparison.

How to check the SSC Delhi Police SI and CAPF result

  1. Open the revised final-result write-up on SSC’s website.
  2. Use the PDF search function to find your roll number. On most computers, press Ctrl+F on Windows or Command+F on Mac; on a phone, use the PDF viewer’s search option.
  3. Check the result entry and allocation shown for your roll number. Do not rely on the total number of candidates or another candidate’s outcome to determine your own result.
  4. If you need to compare the revision with the original announcement, open the 20 October 2025 notice.

SSC’s notices and result pages can be updated. If a link is unavailable, check the SSC results page for the current listing. Candidates in the Southern Region can also check the SSC Southern Region announcements.

Why there is an original and a revised final result

The 2024 examination cycle’s initial final result was announced on 20 October 2025. SSC’s original notice recommended 5,296 candidates: 455 female and 4,841 male.

In its revised notice, SSC said it had received numerous representations and reviewed inconsistencies in DV/DME/RME data supplied by the nodal force, BSF. SSC said the revision was intended to ensure that no genuinely recommended candidate in the original result was disqualified. The revised notice records the following changes:

  • 76 candidates who had not been allocated in the original result received an allocation.
  • 12 candidates allocated in the original result were no longer allocated because they did not meet examination eligibility conditions.
  • 178 candidates had an earlier allocation or status changed.
  • 5,105 candidates had no change in allocation.

These are administrative counts reported in SSC’s revised final-result notice. SSC also said it maintained the category-wise and post-wise cutoff marks of the last selected candidates from the original result; slight changes addressed candidates’ choices or preferences.

Which posts and forces are covered

The final result allocates Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and these five Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs):

  • Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF)
  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

SSC says allocation followed completion of the recruitment stages and was based on merit and candidates’ recorded preferences for posts or forces.

What determines final selection and allocation

Passing an earlier paper or stage does not by itself guarantee final selection. The examination notice describes physical, medical and document-verification stages, and says final selection and allocation use performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, applicable NCC bonus marks, and the post or force preferences recorded by the candidate.

The Paper-II result notice listed minimum qualifying marks for candidates to be considered for medical examination: UR 30% (60 marks), OBC/EWS 25% (50 marks), and all other categories 20% (40 marks). Those figures are stage-specific qualifying thresholds, not the final selection cutoffs. Candidates should use the final-result notice for their own result and allocation.
