Was the SSC GD Constable 2025 application form still open?
No. The SSC examination notice was scheduled for publication on 5 September 2024, and the stated online application period was 5 September through 14 October 2024. That window has passed. The 2025 label refers to the examination cycle, not a current application opportunity.

What stages were part of the recruitment process?
SSC described the recruitment process as a computer-based examination followed by physical, medical and document checks:

- Physical Standard Test (PST)

The later Constable (GD) Examination 2026 notice was a separate recruitment cycle. It listed an application period of 1–31 December 2025, a correction window of 8–10 January 2026, and a tentative computer-based examination period of February–April 2026. These dates do not reopen or extend the 2025 application window.
