The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the final result of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2023, on 28 February 2024. Its notice says 1,211 candidates were provisionally recommended for appointment against 1,211 vacancies. Check SSC’s official Results area at ssc.gov.in; the selection result is not the same as a completed appointment.
How to check the SSC CHSL 2023 final result
- Go to SSC’s official website and open the Results area. SSC’s legacy results page directs visitors to the new portal for results and other updates: SSC Results.
- Look for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2023 entry and open the final-result write-up or linked result list, if available.
- If you open a roll-number PDF, use its search function to find your roll number. Confirm that the document is for CHSL 2023 and the final-result stage.
- For candidate-specific marks or login facilities, use SSC’s own portal. The sources available do not establish whether archived individual marks or every result file remain accessible today.
A third-party copy or a notice for a different CHSL year or result stage is not confirmation of an individual result. The official notice explains the result and qualifying rules; the candidate list, where available, is a separate result document.
What “provisionally recommended” means
SSC’s notice records 1,211 vacancies and 1,211 provisionally recommended candidates. It also says 11,467 candidates submitted online post preferences and were considered for further selection. A recommendation is not confirmation that document verification is complete or that an appointment has been made.
Allocated user departments undertake document verification and appointment formalities. SSC says candidates who receive no communication from their allocated department within six months of the final-result declaration should contact that department. SSC will not handle correspondence about those formalities.

#1 Best Overall
How merit and post allocation were determined
The merit list was based on aggregate marks in Tier-II Sections I and II, provided candidates qualified the relevant Section-III modules. Section III included the Computer Knowledge Test (CKT) and, according to the post, either the DEST or Typing Test. Post allocation followed merit and the preferences candidates submitted.
CHSL 2023 qualifying marks and skill-test rules
There is no single skill-test cutoff that applies to every post and category. The SSC notice sets distinct qualifying rules for CKT, typing and DEST, in addition to minimum qualifying marks for Tier-II components.
