The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) uploaded the revised final result for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2023 on 6 December 2023. To check it, open the official result list for your post category and search the PDF for your roll number. The archive has separate lists for JSO and Statistical Investigator Grade-II candidates, and for all other posts.
How to check the SSC CGL 2023 revised final result
- Open the SSC results archive.
- Find the entry for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2023 revised final result, uploaded on 6 December 2023.
- Choose the list that matches your post category: JSO and Statistical Investigator Grade-II, or all other posts.
- Open the official candidate-list PDF and use its search function to find your roll number. Check that you are searching the correct category list.
Why SSC revised the result
SSC’s official revised-result write-up says the original final result was declared on 4 December 2023, recommending 7,859 candidates. After receiving representations, the Commission reviewed the result and identified a problem involving the Data Entry Speed Test (DEST).
During the skill test, technical issues led to computer terminals being changed for 261 candidates. SSC said mistakes in those candidates’ DEST results had not been considered, and they had been treated as absent. Following the correction, 23 candidates who had previously been marked not selected qualified.
