The three computer-based tests were held on December 8, 15 and 21, 2024. These are historical dates, not an open application window or the schedule for a later SNAP cycle.
SNAP 2024 registration deadline and application fees
Candidates registered through snaptest.org. The registration and payment deadline was November 22, 2024, according to the official SNAP Test 2024 Bulletin. The bulletin required a scanned colour passport-size photograph taken within the preceding six months. It also stated that submitted registrations could not be changed and that fees were non-refundable and non-transferable.
The test registration fee was INR 2,250 per test, plus applicable government taxes. Candidates could register for up to three tests. The SNAP test fee and institute programme registration fee were separate: paying the test fee alone did not make an applicant eligible for consideration for a programme. Applicants had to pay the relevant programme registration fee as well.
SNAP 2024 exam dates and admit-card release dates
The bulletin listed three test dates. Admit cards were released separately for each test; candidates were instructed to check their assigned session and centre on the card.

The bulletin said test timings would be communicated through the admit card. The test-day guide listed sessions of 2:00–3:00 p.m. and 4:30–5:30 p.m. on the test dates; reporting time and centre details depended on the candidate’s assigned admit card.
How multiple SNAP 2024 attempts were counted
A candidate could sit for as many as three tests. For candidates taking more than one, the higher score was used to calculate the final percentile, according to the 2024 bulletin. The official materials do not establish that one test date was easier or more advantageous than another.

These dates apply only to the 2024 cycle
SNAP schedules change by year. The official 2025 registration instructions set a different registration deadline and different December test dates, so the 2024 dates and fees should not be used as guidance for a current application. Check the official SNAP site for the cycle you intend to apply for.
