A June 5, 2024, Crypto Daily™ article on Binance Square selected six services—GDMining, HashShiny, ECOS, Hashing24, Binance, and F2Hash—as “best” cloud-mining sites. That selection is not evidence they were the most popular, that they currently offer free plans, or that a user can withdraw earnings. Treat the names as leads to investigate, not recommendations.
What are the six sites named in the 2024 article?
The article’s list comprises the following services. The available evidence does not establish a comparative ranking, current operating status, or current terms for any of them.
- GDMining
- HashShiny
- ECOS
- Hashing24
- Binance
- F2Hash
The “most popular” wording in the title is not substantiated by independent audience, usage, or market-share data. The names above reflect one listicle’s selection, not a verified popularity ranking. The listicle also does not establish that every service has a genuinely free tier or that a balance shown on a platform can be withdrawn.
What does free cloud mining mean?
Cloud mining generally means paying an operator for access to remote computing power rather than running mining equipment yourself. A free offer is a provider’s claim about access or a promotion; it is not proof of actual mining, a payment, or a dependable income stream.

Bitcoin mining adds blocks to the blockchain and uses specialized hardware such as ASICs. In pooled mining, proceeds are shared roughly in proportion to the hashing power each participant contributes. Because a cloud-mining customer relies on an operator to provide that computing power and account for rewards, a dashboard balance by itself does not verify mining or payment. Can free cloud mining make passive income?
There is no basis here to promise passive income from any of the six services. Free access, if offered, may come with conditions, and a displayed balance may not meet a withdrawal threshold or be withdrawable at all. Mining returns also depend on factors such as mining performance and asset value; crypto prices can change rapidly.

The FTC warns consumers about guaranteed-profit claims in crypto offers. Treat “passive income” as promotional language unless a provider clearly documents how rewards are generated, what costs or restrictions apply, and how customers can withdraw them. No current free-plan terms or payout evidence for these six providers are established here.
How to assess a cloud-mining site before signing up
Check the provider’s own current documentation rather than relying on an old listicle, promotional balance, or testimonial. Do not deposit funds merely to test whether a site will pay.

- Confirm there is a genuinely free tier. Check whether it requires a deposit, paid upgrade, referral, or other payment, and whether eligibility is limited by location or identity verification.
- Read the contract and fee terms. Look for contract duration, maintenance or service fees, cancellation rules, and what happens if mining is unprofitable or the contract ends.
- Verify withdrawal conditions. Find the minimum payout, timing, supported assets, network fees, and any restrictions or additional identity checks. Make sure the conditions apply to the free tier, not only a paid plan.
- Look for evidence beyond an account dashboard. Ask what mining infrastructure is used and whether the provider offers verifiable information about mining activity and payouts. A displayed balance or claimed testimonial alone is not proof.
- Check security and geography. Review account protections, required personal information, and whether the service is available to residents of your jurisdiction.
- Compare claims with the written terms. Returns from mining are not guaranteed. Be wary when marketing promises a fixed or unusually large profit but the contract does not explain the risks and costs.
Current official terms for GDMining, HashShiny, ECOS, Hashing24, Binance, and F2Hash have not been established in the sources available for this article. Verify each provider’s current terms directly before sharing personal information or funds.

FTC material describes bogus crypto investment or mining offers that use fake testimonials, apparent account growth, and demands for additional cryptocurrency when a customer tries to withdraw. These are general scam patterns; they do not establish that any of the six named services is fraudulent.

- Guaranteed profits or unusually large returns with little or no risk.
- Unexplained fees or changing conditions that appear only when you request a withdrawal.
- A demand to send more crypto to unlock, verify, or release a supposed existing balance.
- Testimonials or an account balance offered as the main proof of real mining or payouts.
The FTC’s 2021 Data Spotlight describes consumer reports involving bogus websites that appeared to offer cryptocurrency investing or mining, including these kinds of tactics. Its findings concern reported scams generally, not the six sites in the listicle. The FTC’s 2018 cryptocurrency workshop transcript also discusses purported cloud-mining Ponzi schemes and why guaranteed returns conflict with mining volatility.
Crypto prices can move quickly, and promised profits are not dependable. The FTC’s consumer guidance on cryptocurrency and scams explains this risk and flags guaranteed-profit promises.
