- Confirm the reporting scope: keep standalone and consolidated results distinct.
- Check both comparisons: year-on-year comparisons show change from Q2FY26; quarter-on-quarter comparisons show change from Q1FY27.
- Use only disclosed operating measures: compare revenue, EBITDA or operating profit, PAT, cement volume, premium-product share and cost or margin commentary where the company reports them.
- Keep period labels beside the numbers: a figure without its quarter and scope can be misleading, particularly when comparing release tables.
