A third-party purse database lists $10 million each for Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez for their January 31, 2026 fight. Those are reported figures, not confirmed contract guarantees or verified take-home pay. Pre-fight estimates differed, and no official event listing disclosed either boxer’s final compensation.
What purse figures were reported?
Salary Sport lists a $10 million purse for each fighter against the other. Its pages are undated and were accessed October 7, 2026; they are third-party database entries, not commission filings or disclosed contracts.

What is confirmed about the fight—and what is not?
The bout took place Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. Matchroom’s event page lists Lopez vs. Stevenson as the main event, and Madison Square Garden describes Lopez defending his Ring and WBO junior welterweight titles against Stevenson. Neither official event listing gives a purse amount or payout breakdown.
