Forbes reported that her original five-year Nike agreement, which began in 2004, could be worth up to $40 million with performance bonuses and sales royalties. That is a historical figure, not a disclosed value for her current deal. The other brands below are ranked qualitatively by reported prominence, longevity, visibility, and evidence of continued association—not by comparable contract values, which are not publicly established.
How this ranking works
Public reporting does not provide a current, like-for-like value for each Williams endorsement. Nike leads because it has the clearest reported contract figure and remains on her sponsor roster in Forbes’s 2026 profile. The order below it is an editorial assessment of the available evidence: a brand’s role in tennis or advertising, the reported duration of the relationship, and whether recent sources still identify it as a partner.
Forbes’s August 2026 profile lists ten endorsement brands, while Forbes Australia’s 2026 reporting distinguishes several sponsors continuing from her time on court from newer reported partners. Neither source is a complete contract ledger, and a sponsor list does not reveal what each company pays.
Serena Williams’s biggest endorsements, ranked
1. Nike
Nike is the strongest number-one pick on the available evidence. Forbes reported in 2016 that Williams’s original five-year agreement, beginning in 2004, was worth up to $40 million when performance bonuses and sales royalties were included. This was a report about that original agreement; it should not be read as the value of her current Nike relationship. Forbes still listed Nike among her sponsors in its 2026 profile, and Nike’s 2026 feature and Serena Williams Building provide more recent brand context.
#1 Best Overall
Forbes’s 2016 account of Williams’s endorsements is the source for the historical contract figure. Nike’s 2026 Serena Williams Building feature is relevant to current brand context, not a disclosure of contract terms.
2. Wilson
Wilson is a central tennis-equipment association rather than a publicly ranked deal by dollars. Forbes names it among Williams’s sponsors, and Tennis.com’s historical sponsor overview identifies Wilson as her racquet and tennis-equipment partner. That makes the relationship especially pertinent to her sporting career, but the available reporting does not establish a present-day model endorsement or a current contract value.
Tennis.com’s retrospective on Williams’s sponsors provides historical equipment context. A Wilson racquet is an example of the brand’s tennis category, not a claim that she endorses a particular current model.
Rank #2
3. Gatorade
Gatorade has been a high-visibility consumer-brand partner. Forbes identifies Gatorade/Pepsi among Williams’s partners, and Adweek reported Gatorade advertising around her 2022 US Open farewell. That campaign context supports its prominence, but the sources do not disclose a current deal value or establish a financial ranking against Wilson or other partners.
Adweek’s coverage of advertising around Williams’s 2022 farewell documents that visibility.
4. Audemars Piguet
The Swiss watchmaker is one of Williams’s better-known luxury partnerships. Forbes names Audemars Piguet among her partners and identifies it in recent reporting as a long-term sponsor. Its position here reflects profile and reported longevity, not a known contract amount: none of the cited sources provides a comparable current valuation.
Rank #3
5. Lincoln
Forbes Australia identifies Lincoln as one of four sponsors continuing from Williams’s previous time on court. That makes it a documented continuing relationship, although the public reporting cited here does not state a deal value or provide enough information to compare its commercial scale with the higher-ranked brands.
6. Factor
Factor appears among the newer partners reported by Forbes Australia in 2026. The available account establishes the relationship as a current reporting snapshot, but does not disclose contract terms or show that it outweighs Williams’s longer-running associations.

Heineken is also included in Forbes Australia’s 2026 reporting on newer partners. No comparable current payment figure is reported, so its placement reflects the available sponsor reporting rather than a measured deal-size ranking.
8. Reckitt Catalyst
Forbes Australia describes Reckitt Catalyst as an incubator within consumer-goods company Reckitt and reports its relationship with Williams. The distinction matters: Catalyst is the described partnership context, not a basis for assuming a particular endorsement fee. No current contract value is stated.
9. Ro
Forbes Australia reports Ro in connection with a telehealth campaign. That is evidence of a brand relationship and campaign activity, but the cited coverage does not provide a current deal value or establish its duration relative to her older partnerships.

Endorsement lists and athlete earnings totals are different kinds of evidence. Forbes reported Williams’s 2022 total earnings as $41.3 million, divided into $0.3 million on-court and $41 million off-court. The off-court category is not a contract-by-contract sponsor tally, so it cannot be used to calculate what Nike or any other brand paid her.
Best Value
Forbes’s 2026 highest-paid tennis players list reports $40.1 million in earnings and its profile lists ten endorsement deals. Those are figures tied to that dated list and profile, not valuations of individual brand contracts.
How much does Nike pay Serena Williams?
The public figure cited here is historical: Forbes reported that Williams’s original five-year Nike agreement, starting in 2004, could be worth up to $40 million including performance bonuses and sales royalties. The sources cited here do not establish the value of her current Nike contract. It would be inaccurate to present the old figure as her current annual pay or current deal total.
Who sponsors Serena Williams?
Forbes’s August 2026 profile lists ten endorsement brands, and the reporting cited above identifies Nike, Wilson, Gatorade, Audemars Piguet, Lincoln, Factor, Heineken, Reckitt Catalyst, and Ro among her partners. The list here is not a complete accounting of every contract, and current sponsor rosters can change.
