Where was Perth’s first Sephora store?
It was at Karrinyup Shopping Centre, 200 Karrinyup Road, in the northern Perth suburb of Karrinyup. PerthNow reported on 23 September 2021 that the 448-square-metre store would be Sephora’s first in Western Australia. It opened on 7 October 2021; opening-day coverage reported that the doors opened at 9am, with customers queuing before the launch. Sephora Australia and New Zealand general manager Beth Glancey described it as a long-awaited location, saying: “This Sephora store opening has been years in the making, and by far our most requested location.” The quote appeared in PerthNow’s 23 September 2021 preview.

What services did the store plan to offer?
Opening coverage described a six-seat beauty studio for foundation matching, lipstick touch-ups and makeup tutorials. It also announced a skincare bar where customers could complete an app-based questionnaire and skin scan to receive product recommendations. Broadsheet’s September 2021 preview reported these planned services. They are historical opening details; confirm directly with the store or Sephora before relying on any service being available for a current visit.
