The opening was reported at the ground level of the Commonwealth Bank Building in Murray Street Mall; Sephora’s current store locator lists the Perth CBD outlet at G.01, 1 Forrest Place, Perth WA 6000.
Where and when Sephora opened in Perth CBD
The store opened on 20 October 2022, following Sephora’s Karrinyup shop, which opened in October 2021. PerthNow described the new CBD store as occupying 444 square metres on the ground level of the Commonwealth Bank Building in Murray Street Mall. PerthNow reported the opening and location.
That is the historical opening description, not necessarily the best address to use for a visit today. Sephora Australia’s store locator currently lists Perth CBD at G.01, 1 Forrest Place, Perth WA 6000, and gives the phone number (08) 9322 9675. Check the live listing for current hours and directions before travelling, as store information can change.
Brands and products reported at the opening
Opening coverage named Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Tarte, Fresh, Sephora Collection, Rare Beauty and Makeup by Mario among the brands available. A follow-up report also named GXVE BY Gwen Stefani. These are brands reported in connection with the 2022 opening; the reports do not establish the store’s current range or stock.

PerthNow reported that shoppers sought Fenty Beauty’s Gloss Bomb Heat Lip Luminizer + Plumper in Hot Chocolit Heat on opening day. That is an opening-day detail, not a claim about present availability.
What happened on opening day
PerthNow reported that more than 700 people queued, with some arriving from 3:30am. The paper also reported that the first 400 shoppers received a Natasha Denona Love Eyeshadow Palette valued at $100. Those figures and the giveaway describe the reported opening-day event; they are not independently audited attendance or sales figures, and the offer was not a continuing promotion.

Sephora Australia general manager Mark O’Keefe said, “We started talking about this building in 2018 and we couldn’t be more excited,” according to PerthNow’s opening-day follow-up. Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said, “A big internationally recognised brand has chosen the heart of our city — that is really significant,” the same report noted. These comments record the speakers’ views about the opening; they do not measure its effect on the city centre.
