The stated $130 is not verified as a current offer. Before buying, confirm the exact model, who recertified it, the warranty and return terms, the checkout price, and whether your system supports SATA.
What the title describes
Seagate’s Exos X16 datasheet includes 14TB models with a SATA 6Gb/s interface. One listed model is ST14000NM001G, but the title does not identify a specific model number; other 14TB variants exist. Check the listing and, if possible, the drive label to confirm the exact model and interface. Seagate Exos X16 datasheet
SATA and SAS are distinct interfaces. A 14TB Exos drive is not necessarily compatible with your system just because the capacity and family name match. Confirm that your host supports the listed SATA model and has a suitable connection, drive bay, power, and cooling. Without details about your computer, NAS, or server, system fit cannot be determined.
What manufacturer recertified means
Seagate describes its factory-recertified hard drives as sanitized, tested against factory performance standards, and factory certified. That describes the recertification process; it does not establish the history, power-on hours, or present health of any particular unit. No individual-unit health report or independent test result is established for the drive in this title. Seagate recertified hard-drive policy

#1 Best Overall
- Manufacture Recertified with Zero Hours Usage, 2 Year Warranty
Manufacturer recertification is also different from seller refurbishment. A seller-refurbished listing describes the seller’s condition category, not Seagate’s factory process. For example, an indexed ServerPartDeals result was identified as seller refurbished, while an indexed DiscTech result named the exact model as factory recertified. Those listings do not prove the condition or price of the item in this title, and listings can change. ServerPartDeals listing context · DiscTech listing context
Warranty: do not assume the new-drive coverage applies
Seagate states a six-month warranty for recertified hard drives. The company also warns that prime-product documentation and warranties do not apply to recertified products. The five-year limited warranty shown in standard Exos X16 support information is therefore not the warranty to assume for a recertified unit. Read the actual listing and written warranty terms, including who handles a claim and when coverage begins. Seagate recertified hard-drive policy · Seagate Exos X16 support

How to assess the $130 price
The $130 in the title is a stated price, not a verified current deal. The indexed seller-refurbished ServerPartDeals result showed $419 when indexed, while the indexed DiscTech result identified a factory-recertified model without confirming the title’s price. These are different listing contexts, not a like-for-like price comparison or proof of today’s market price. ServerPartDeals listing context · DiscTech listing context
At checkout, compare the total cost rather than the headline amount: include shipping and tax, then review the seller, stock status, condition description, return window, and warranty. For a capacity-based comparison, divide that total by 14TB; this gives a simple price per advertised terabyte, not a measure of usable formatted capacity or drive value.
