Schneider Electric created a global AI and enterprise partner ecosystem organization to help partners and customers pursue enterprise AI opportunities, according to a February 10, 2025 report by CRN. The report identifies Paul Tyrer and Leslie Vitrano Hubright as leaders of related global ecosystem functions and describes a partner opportunity tied to the power, cooling, integration and modernization needs of AI data centers.
What Schneider Electric’s reported organization is meant to do
CRN described the new organization as a global effort to bring Schneider Electric’s enterprise AI work and partner ecosystem together. Its stated purpose was to help partners and their customers pursue AI opportunities. The report did not provide program rules, enrollment details, financial terms or measured outcomes, so it does not establish how the organization operates in practice or what results it has produced.
The opportunity described is not limited to AI software. Running AI workloads can increase demand for data-center power and cooling, while businesses may also need help integrating systems or modernizing existing facilities. Schneider Electric’s partner ecosystem is positioned in that infrastructure context.
Who CRN named in leadership roles
At the time of its February 10, 2025 report, CRN named Paul Tyrer as global vice president of the AI Enterprise and Partner Ecosystem organization and Leslie Vitrano Hubright as vice president of global IT channel ecosystem. These are roles as reported on that date, not confirmation of their current appointments. CRN described Tyrer as a 31-year Schneider Electric veteran and Hubright as a 15-year veteran at the time.

CRN quoted Hubright saying, “This is Schneider Electric doubling down and investing in partners to lead the AI revolution.” That statement reflects her characterization of the initiative, rather than an independently verified description of its funding or results.
Why AI data centers create a partner opportunity
The report’s practical focus is infrastructure work: assessing whether a site can support AI workloads and, where needed, improving power, cooling and related systems. Existing data centers may need changes before they can accommodate newer workloads, but requirements vary by facility, equipment and workload; the article does not establish a universal retrofit rule.
Patrick Shelley, CTO of PKA Technologies, told CRN: “Data centers that were built 10 to 15 years ago need to be updated for the AI era.” This is Shelley’s assessment, not a blanket technical requirement for every older data center.

- EVOLUTION AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ 395 MINI PC - GMKtec EVO-X2 is the next evolution in AI mini PC Ryzen Strix Halo series. Thanks to AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) the core-count is effectively doubled, to 32 threads. Ryzen AI Max+ 395 has 64 MB of L3 cache and can boost up to 5.1 GHz, depending on the workload. The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is currently rated as the "most powerful x86 APU" on the market for AI computing.
- AI NPU with XDNA 2 ARCHITECTURE - Powered by 16 “Zen 5” CPU cores, 50+ peak AI TOPS XDNA 2 NPU and a truly massive integrated GPU driven by 40 AMD RDNA 3.5 CUs, the Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 is a transformative upgrade and delivers a significant performance boost over the competition. The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 excels in consumer AI workloads like the llama.cpp-powered application: LM Studio. Shaping up to be the must-have app for client LLM workloads, LM Studio allows users to locally run the latest language model without any technical knowledge required and unleash their creativity and productivity.
- AMD RADEON 8090S iGPU GAMING PC - The AMD Radeon RX 8060S offers all 40 CUs with up to 2.9 GHz graphics clock and uses the new RDNA 3.5 architecture. The powerful iGPU is positioned between an RTX 4060 and 4070 laptop GPU and therefore enables gaming in FHD at maximum details in most demanding games. The 8060S can also utilize the full 64GB pool, which is perfect for running LLMs such as Deepseek 32B, which runs comfortably on this machine.
- EIGHT CHANNEL LPDDR5X - LPDDR5X is a new ground breaking memory small form factor installed on-board. With blazing speeds up to to 8000MT/s, it runs 1.5x faster than the DDR5 SODIMMs; 90% better performance over DDR5 SODIMMs in video conferencing and photo editing; 30% better performance in productivity apps; 4% better performance in digital content workloads.
- QUAD SCREEN 8K DISPLAY SUPPORT - EVO-X2 AI Mini PC support 4-screen 4K/8K output via HDMI 2.1 (8K@60Hz), DisplayPort 1.4 (4K@60Hz), and dual USB 4 40Gbps Transfer speed (supporting PD3.0/DP1.4/DATA). Ideal for gaming, video editing, and multitasking, it provides expansive and crisp multi-display support.
Shelley also offered a comparison from one customer situation: a colocation deployment with 100 servers and about 900 Nvidia GPUs consumed more power and cooling than two other locations with 10,000 servers. CRN reported this as Shelley’s example; it is not an independently verified measurement or a general benchmark. The contrast illustrates why server counts alone may not convey a site’s power and cooling needs.
PKA Technologies as one example, not a ranking
CRN identified PKA Technologies as a Schneider Electric APC partner. Shelley described the company’s work as including data-center modernization and optimization services, with frequent assessments. That makes PKA one concrete example of the service scope discussed in the report; it does not show that all Schneider Electric partners offer the same services or have equivalent AI experience.
For organizations evaluating a partner, useful points to compare include:

- Intel Core Ultra 9 285 Processor: Newly developed cores deliver ultra-smooth and responsive gameplay. AI accelerators prepare users for the next era of gaming on an AI PC.
- Simplistic Design: Enjoy the latest generation of Windows 11 Home for your everyday needs. *MSI recommends Windows 11 Pro for business use.
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU
- Cool While Gaming: In conjunction with an RGB CPU Air Cooler, the Aegis RS features four system cooling fans; three in the front and one in the rear to pull in cool air and push heat out of the PC.
- Turn on the Bright Lights: With the built-in RGB lighting, take your gaming experience to the next level by pressing the MSI LED button to cycle through lighting options. Customize lighting even further with MSI Center software.
- Service scope: whether the partner assesses facilities, modernizes systems, and works on power, cooling or integration.
- AI workload experience: whether it can demonstrate relevant experience with the workloads and infrastructure in question.
- Geographic coverage: whether it can support the locations where the organization operates.
- Schneider Electric relationship: what the partner’s relationship to the company covers, rather than assuming a shared label means identical capabilities.
The CRN report gives one partner example, not a comparative assessment of providers.
How this fits Schneider Electric’s earlier AI activity
Schneider Electric’s November 16, 2022 announcement of its AI Hub described AI-enabled offers and applications involving microgrids, production, building HVAC, EV management and asset management. That announcement provides earlier context for the company’s AI work; it does not establish the structure or remit of the partner organization CRN reported in 2025.
