Official SBI PO 2020 result links
Start at SBI’s Recruitment Results & Archive page. Locate “RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS (Final Result Announced)” and verify the advertisement number, CRPD/PO/2020-21/12. The archive lists the preliminary and main exam results, final result, letter to successful candidates, and marks secured by candidates.
- Final merit list: The official Final Result PDF contains selected candidates’ roll numbers. It is not an individual scorecard.
- Individual marks: Use the archive’s “Marks Secured by the Candidates” link. SBI’s link currently resolves to a general “Recruitment of Probationary Officers Main 2020” page in the observed view; it is not established that candidate-specific login remains available.
- Successful-candidate letter: The archive lists this separately from both the final-result PDF and the marks link. Availability of an individual letter download is not confirmed.
How the scorecard was accessed at result release
At the time, Scroll.in reported the following route for checking marks. Treat it as historical instructions rather than confirmation that the login still works:
- Visit SBI Careers and open the Recruitment of Probationary Officers result notice.
- Choose “Marks Secured by the Candidates.”
- Enter your registration number or roll number and date of birth.
- Submit the details and download the scorecard if the portal provides access.
If the marks link redirects or does not accept your details, the final-result PDF remains a separate public roll-number list. The archive presently lists the marks and letter links, but their listing alone does not establish that old candidate-specific downloads can still be retrieved.
How SBI calculated the final merit list
SBI’s 2020 detailed advertisement required candidates to qualify separately in Phase II (mains) and Phase III. Preliminary exam marks were not counted toward the final merit list.
- Mains marks, scored out of 250, were converted to a score out of 75.
- Phase III marks, scored out of 50, were converted to a score out of 25.
- The converted marks were added for a final total out of 100. Candidates were selected in category order from the highest-ranked candidates.
Scroll.in reported in 2021 that 2,003 candidates were declared successful for 2,000 PO vacancies. These are figures reported by Scroll.in, not counts displayed in the final-result PDF.
