The last date to apply for SBI’s 1,194 Concurrent Auditor vacancies was 15 March 2025. The registration window is closed, and SBI’s careers page lists provisionally selected candidates for the engagement. This was a contractual opportunity for retired officers of SBI and its erstwhile associate banks—not an open recruitment for general applicants.
Is the SBI Concurrent Auditor application still open?
No. SBI’s advertisement CRPD/RS/2024-25/33 opened online registration on 18 February 2025 and closed it on 15 March 2025. SBI’s careers page now indicates that provisionally selected candidates have been announced for this engagement, so applications for this round are no longer being accepted.
What the 2025 recruitment offered
The notice invited applications from retired SBI and erstwhile associate-bank officers for contractual engagement as Concurrent Auditors. It listed 1,194 vacancies: 1,100 current-year vacancies and 94 backlog vacancies. Annexure I of the advertisement provides the circle-wise allocation.
Selected candidates were to be posted under the Chief Administrative Office of the Circle for which they applied. The notice described education as not applicable and said credit, audit, or Forex experience was preferred. Applicants had to meet the notice’s conditions for the specified retired-officer group; the vacancy count did not make this a general-entry SBI role.
How applications and selection were handled
During the application window, candidates applied online and submitted assignment details and identity and age proof.
