What SBI confirmed about the 2025 prelims schedule
The schedule was for recruitment to Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in SBI’s clerical cadre, under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2025-26/06. The detailed notice, dated August 6, 2025, described the preliminary examination as tentative for September and the main examination as tentative for November. SBI’s later recruitment page confirms that the prelims were held in September 2025.
“Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of September 2025 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of November 2025.”
The notice’s use of “tentatively” matters: November was the planned month for the main exam in the advertisement, not confirmation of a particular date. The application window in that notice ran from August 6 to August 26, 2025. SBI’s current openings page reflects the recruitment’s later result and wait-list stages.

Were the exact prelims dates or admit-card release date announced?
The official sources reviewed confirm only that the prelims were held in September 2025. They do not confirm the individual exam dates or the date call letters were released. The notice’s call-letter instructions explain what candidates needed to bring and do not provide a release date. Avoid treating an unverified date circulated elsewhere as an SBI-confirmed date.
SBI’s 2025 prelims page identifies the recruitment, records the exam as held in September, and displays Phase-I marks. That status makes “admit cards releasing shortly” stale wording rather than a live announcement.

SBI’s advertisement stated: “Call letter of Preliminary Exam will not be collected at the examination venue.” It also instructed candidates to bring an original photo identity document and a self-attested photocopy. Examples listed included a passport, Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence and voter card. Candidates should follow the instructions on their own call letter and any current official directions, since those govern the requirements for an individual exam.
For any future SBI recruitment, check the relevant notice and its official recruitment page for schedule changes, call-letter availability and exam-day requirements rather than relying on the old 2025 “releasing shortly” wording.
