SBI’s 2021 recruitment notice said candidates who opted for pre-exam training could download a training call letter from 26 May 2021 using their registration number and password or date of birth. That was a scheduled start date, not confirmation that the files actually appeared online that day. The notice concerned recruitment for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales), commonly called SBI Clerk; it is historical guidance, not current application advice.
How to access the SBI Clerk pre-exam training call letter in 2021
State Bank of India’s 2021 Junior Associate detailed advertisement instructed candidates who had opted for pre-examination training to download their training call letter from the bank’s website from 26 May 2021 onward. The notice specified signing in with a registration number and password or date of birth. SBI also said it would not send a hard copy of the training call letter by post.
The notice gave a planned availability date; it does not establish that the training call letter or other materials were actually posted on that date. The sources available do not verify the exact date the 2021 files became accessible.
Who could use the training call letter?
Pre-exam training was not available to every applicant. SBI’s current Junior Associate FAQ says the training call letter is for specified categories and is unavailable to candidates who did not select the pre-exam training option during online registration. Eligibility and registration choice both matter; a candidate who did not opt in should not expect a training call letter.

What training format did SBI describe?
Because of the COVID-19 situation, SBI said it might conduct pre-exam training in physical classes or through online tools, depending on feasibility. The wording was conditional: it did not promise that both formats would be offered, or that any particular candidate would receive training in either format.
Training letter, preliminary call letter and booklet: different downloads
The training call letter had its own scheduled date. SBI’s 2021 advertisement separately listed tentative download dates for the preliminary-exam call letter and the “acquaint yourself booklet,” and for the main-exam call letter:

SBI’s advertisement said hard copies of call letters and the booklet would not be sent by post. These dates describe the 2021 recruitment schedule only.
