PerthNow reported on 27 April 2024 that a Western Australian ticket shared the Saturday Lotto division one prize with two other winning entries, with each reported to receive $1,648,240. In a report published at 9:11 pm on 27 April 2024, PerthNow reporter Claire Sadler said there were three division one winning tickets nationally in that Saturday night draw. The report described the jackpot as $5 million and said each winning entry would receive $1,648,240.
PerthNow also reported 11 division two winning tickets in Western Australia and 63 additional division two winners elsewhere in Australia. It put the division two prizes at just under $10,000 each.
