What is known about the Western Australian ticket?
Lotterywest confirmed on 30 September that a Division One ticket sold at Reuben’s News in Collie was one of the eight national winning entries. The retailer’s manager, Paul Reuben, said: “I’m thrilled that the prize goes to someone who came in store and supported a small business like ours.” The statement was the retailer’s reaction, not a comment from the winner. Lotterywest’s Collie follow-up reports the ticket was worth more than $800,000.
