A 15-person syndicate shared more than $2.6 million after its Saturday Lotto ticket, bought at Spearwood Heights Newsagency in Western Australia, won Division One in the draw reported on 14 August 2023. Lotterywest said each member received more than $185,000, including prizes from other divisions. This is a historical result, not a current draw or lottery offer.
What happened in the 2023 Saturday Lotto draw?
Lotterywest reported that the Spearwood Heights Newsagency ticket was one of two Division One-winning tickets nationally in that weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw. The 15 members of the Western Australian syndicate shared more than $2.6 million.
Lotterywest’s initial announcement described each member’s payout as more than $185,000, with the total including prizes won across other divisions on the entry. Its 16 August follow-up separately described one member’s Division One share as $185,000. These are differently framed figures; the initial announcement does not state an exact individual total or an exact overall prize.
How was the winning syndicate ticket organised?
In its follow-up, Lotterywest identified the ticket as a System 10 organised by Spearwood Heights Newsagency. It reported that one member, a Lake Coogee woman in her 70s, had regularly joined the retailer’s syndicate for 25 years and nearly missed that week’s entry. She said, “I forgot to join the syndicate last week, thank goodness I didn’t miss out on this week!” Lotterywest reported that she planned to share her Division One share with her children and grandchildren.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said syndicates can be organised with friends, family or colleagues, or joined at a local Lotterywest store. That general comment does not change the details of this particular 2023 win.
What were the winning numbers?
Lotterywest listed the draw’s six winning numbers as 10, 5, 30, 32, 42 and 34, with supplementary numbers 45 and 19. These numbers identify the historical draw; they are not predictions or advice for future draws.
