Samsung’s U.S. Presidents’ Day promotion, reported on February 13, 2025, advertised discounts on TVs, gaming monitors, storage, appliances and Galaxy S25 phones. Its standout listed prices included $1,299.99 for a 65-inch The Frame and $2,149.99 for an 85-inch Neo QLED 4K TV. These are historical prices, not verified offers today; the promotion’s end date and terms were not established.
MacRumors’ February 13, 2025 report is the source for the deal list and comparison prices below. Treat its advertised reductions as arithmetic differences from the stated comparison prices, not proof of the products’ lowest recent prices.
What the February 2025 sale included
The promotion was broader than a TV event. MacRumors reported offers across televisions, Odyssey and other gaming monitors, NVMe and portable SSDs, refrigerators and other home appliances, and the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. The report did not establish that every product in these categories was discounted or that every listed price was available nationwide.
All prices below are U.S. dollars as reported at the time. Product descriptions are retained as reported; the source did not provide complete model numbers for the listed products.

|---|---|---|---|
| The Frame, 65-inch | $1,299.99 | $1,999.99 | $700 |
| Crystal UHD TV, 85-inch | $799.99 | $1,099.99 | $300 |
| QLED 4K TV, 65-inch | $899.99 | $1,599.99 | $700 |
| OLED S90C TV, 65-inch | $1,499.99 | $2,599.99 | $1,100 |
| Neo QLED 4K TV, 65-inch | $1,799.99 | $2,699.99 | $900 |
| QLED 4K TV, 85-inch | $1,279.99 | $2,799.99 | $1,520 |
| Neo QLED 4K TV, 85-inch | $2,149.99 | $3,999.99 | $1,850 |
The largest advertised TV reduction was $1,850 on the 85-inch Neo QLED, followed by $1,520 on the 85-inch QLED. Those are reductions from the comparison prices in the report, not independently verified savings against recent retailer prices. The report does not establish whether those comparison prices were MSRP, prior selling prices or another promotional reference.
How to weigh the TV offers
- The Frame: Its design and artwork-focused features may suit a room where appearance matters. It is not automatically the strongest picture-quality value for a buyer focused only on performance per dollar. Check the exact generation, included or optional bezel, wall-mount hardware, installation cost and any Art Store subscription terms.
- Crystal UHD and QLED: These descriptions cover different product tiers, not interchangeable performance. Brightness, local dimming, processor, refresh rate and viewing angles depend on the exact model number.
- OLED S90C: The S90C is an older-generation designation relative to later Samsung OLED lines. A low price could reflect remaining inventory; confirm the precise SKU and warranty rather than assuming it is a current-generation offer.
- Neo QLED: A potential fit for shoppers seeking a large, bright TV without choosing OLED. Check the exact model’s gaming features, HDMI 2.1 support, viewing angles, backlight behavior, and stand or wall-mount compatibility.
Historical monitor and storage prices
| Product description | Reported sale price | Stated comparison price | Advertised reduction |
|---|---|---|---|
| 990 EVO 5.0 NVMe SSD, 2TB | $129.99 | $239.99 | $110 |
| Portable SSD, 2TB | $149.99 | $284.99 | $135 |
| Odyssey OLED G8 curved gaming monitor, 34-inch | $789.99 | $1,199.99 | $410 |
| Odyssey Quantum gaming monitor, 32-inch | $699.99 | $1,099.99 | $400 |
| Odyssey OLED G9 G95SC curved gaming monitor, 49-inch | $1,099.99 | $1,699.99 | $600 |
| Odyssey Ark, second generation, 55-inch | $1,799.99 | $2,699.99 | $900 |
Monitor fit and OLED considerations
The 34-inch OLED G8 is the more compact of the listed ultrawide options; the 49-inch OLED G9 needs a very wide desk and may call for deliberate window-management settings. The 55-inch Odyssey Ark is a specialist-sized display, so check desk or room footprint, viewing distance and ergonomics before weighing its advertised $900 reduction. OLED can appeal for contrast and gaming, but buyers should consider their usage pattern and confirm the exact product’s burn-in warranty terms. The report does not establish panel specifications, refresh rates, ports or warranty coverage for these listings.

The 32-inch Odyssey Quantum may be a more conventional desk fit, but its name alone does not establish resolution, refresh rate or connectivity. Confirm the full model number and specifications on the exact listing before comparing it with other monitors.
SSD compatibility checks
A reported price per terabyte does not show whether a drive suits a particular device. Before buying, match the exact drive’s form factor and PCIe generation to the computer, console or enclosure; check operating-system and device support, heatsink clearance, warranty and endurance rating. The report does not identify enough technical detail to establish those specifications for the listed SSDs.

Historical refrigerator and appliance offers
| Product description | Reported sale price | Stated comparison price |
|---|---|---|
| Large-capacity side-by-side refrigerator | $1,099 | $1,666 |
| Four-door French-door refrigerator | $1,899 | $2,899 |
| Mega-capacity three-door French-door refrigerator | $2,399 | $3,499 |
| Bespoke four-door Flex refrigerator | $2,599 | $4,099 |
| Bespoke four-door Flex refrigerator | $3,199 | $4,999 |
The report also said the sale extended to laundry appliances, kitchen ranges, robot vacuums and other products, without identifying every model or its conditions. The refrigerator descriptions do not include complete model numbers, capacities, finishes or fulfillment details, so they cannot establish which configuration a shopper would receive.
Check total delivered cost before comparing
- Measure the appliance and confirm door swing, doorway clearance and installation space.
- Check delivery, installation, water-line work and haul-away charges separately.
- Confirm finish-specific pricing, local stock, who fulfills the order, and warranty and service terms.
- Look for any bundle, trade-in, membership or financing condition attached to the checkout price.
A refrigerator’s fit, features, repair access and local service matter more than the size of its advertised markdown. Delivery or installation costs can also change the comparison with another retailer.

Galaxy S25-series savings were advertised as “up to”
The February 2025 report said savings were up to $800 on the Galaxy S25, up to $800 on the S25+, and up to $1,200 on the S25 Ultra. These were maximum advertised savings, not confirmed unconditional price cuts. The report does not establish whether they came from instant discounts, trade-in credits, promotional credits, financing, carrier activation or a combination of terms.
For a fair comparison, identify the exact storage configuration and separate any immediate price reduction from trade-in value or credits paid over time. A maximum offer may not apply to a buyer without an eligible trade-in or other qualifying purchase.

How to judge the advertised reductions
Within the reported product tables, the largest nominal reductions were $1,850 on the 85-inch Neo QLED, $1,520 on the 85-inch QLED, $1,100 on the 65-inch OLED S90C, $900 on the 55-inch Odyssey Ark and $600 on the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9. These are calculations using the listed sale and comparison prices; they do not verify that the reference prices matched normal street prices or that the discounts were exceptional relative to other retailers.
Before treating any historical offer as a benchmark for a current purchase, identify the complete model number and compare the same configuration at other retailers. Samsung’s U.S. category pages are useful starting points for checking current products, but they do not verify the February 2025 prices: TVs, monitors, storage, home appliances and mobile. Availability and terms can vary by product and region.
Who the reported deals could have suited
- Large-screen TV shoppers: The listed 85-inch QLED and Neo QLED prices had the largest advertised reductions, but the right choice depends on the exact model, room brightness, viewing angles and gaming needs.
- Design-focused TV buyers: The Frame offer may have been relevant if artwork presentation and room integration justified its price for you.
- OLED monitor shoppers: The 34-inch G8 and 49-inch G9 offered different desk-size commitments; factor in OLED ownership considerations and verify warranty details.
- SSD upgraders: The 2TB prices were only useful if the drive’s interface, form factor and thermal fit matched your device.
- Appliance shoppers: Compare the delivered, installed and haul-away total for the exact model, not just its advertised reduction.
- Galaxy buyers: Compare the offer’s actual eligibility and credit structure with an unconditional price; the maximum savings figure alone is not enough.
Availability and price status
The promotion was reported on February 13, 2025. Its end date, nationwide availability, stock, return terms, delivery costs and exact model numbers were not established in that report. As of August 2026, these figures should be treated as historical; confirm any current price, product availability and checkout conditions directly before purchasing.
