There is no confirmed Samsung Black Friday 2026 price yet. Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026, and the strongest Galaxy Z promotions may appear earlier in the month. Samsung’s most recent verified offer advertised up to $1,000 off the Galaxy Z Fold7, but that was the maximum trade-in credit—not a universal price cut.
For shoppers, the right comparison is the final cost after trade-in, gift cards, activation, financing, taxes and any required wireless plan. A headline discount is not automatically the cheapest deal.
What Samsung’s “up to $1,000 off” means
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold7 at $1,999.99 in the U.S. and advertised up to $1,000 off with an eligible trade-in. The maximum credit applied only to qualifying devices and conditions under the promotion’s terms. It did not mean every customer could buy the Fold7 for $999.99.

Those are illustrations, not guaranteed quotes. Your actual credit depends on the exact phone, condition, storage tier, retailer and promotion. Samsung’s trade-in program can also require the old device to be returned within a specified period after the new phone ships.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 pricing reference
Samsung’s March 2026 MSRP file lists the Fold7 at $1,999.99 for 256GB, $2,119.99 for 512GB and $2,419.99 for 1TB. These are MSRP references, not confirmed Black Friday prices. A storage upgrade can be valuable, but it should be compared with an outright discount rather than treated as cash savings.
Samsung previously displayed up to $400 off the Fold7 without a trade-in during an indexed promotion. Earlier 2025 Black Friday coverage also reported a larger no-trade-in saving of roughly $600. That history shows why the no-trade-in price must be listed separately from the maximum trade-in headline.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 pricing reference
The Flip7 launched at $1,099.99 for 256GB and $1,219.99 for 512GB, according to Samsung’s published pricing references. Samsung previously showed up to $200 off without a trade-in and up to $600 with an eligible trade-in.
The Flip7 is usually the simpler value choice for shoppers who want a foldable without paying Fold-level prices. Its maximum discount is also lower: the “up to $1,000” headline generally applies to the Fold7, not the Flip7.

Best unlocked deal with a valuable trade-in
Start with Samsung.com. Samsung is the most direct path when you want an unlocked phone, an instant trade-in credit, an online-exclusive color or Samsung’s own financing and return process. Price the exact old device before assuming that the maximum credit applies.
Best unlocked deal without a trade-in
Compare Samsung’s no-trade-in discount with an outright unlocked retailer price. A storage upgrade may be worthwhile, especially on the Fold7, but a gift card should be shown separately from the purchase price. Choose the gift card only if you will use it.

A carrier promotion can produce the lowest nominal phone price if you already intend to switch and will keep the required plan for the full bill-credit period. Check the required premium plan, number port, trade-in model, financing term, taxes, activation fees and unlocking policy.

Check Samsung Certified Re-Newed inventory. Samsung announced savings of up to $580 on renewed Fold7 or Flip7 devices with an eligible trade-in. Confirm the warranty, battery disclosure, cosmetic condition, storage, carrier compatibility and return terms before buying.

Indexed Best Buy pages showed promotions of up to $1,200 off with qualifying trade-in and a possible $200 Best Buy e-gift card. How to calculate the real cost
Use separate lines for immediate savings, gift cards and carrier subsidies:
Effective cost = phone price − immediate discount − usable gift-card value + required fees + required service cost.
Keep carrier bill credits separate. A $0 device financed over 36 months is not equivalent to a $0 unlocked phone: leaving the carrier early may end the remaining credits, and the required plan can cost more than an unlocked purchase.
Do not subtract a gift card as though it were cash unless you would otherwise buy the same retailer’s products. Taxes may also be calculated independently of promotional credits, so use the checkout total rather than the advertised price.
How trade-in promotions can change your price
The final trade-in quote can depend on:
- the exact model and storage capacity of the old device;
- screen cracks, water damage, missing parts or nonfunctional hardware;
- whether activation locks are removed;
- whether the phone is financed, locked or still tied to an account;
- the purchase channel and selected storage tier;
- instant credit versus a later promotional credit;
- the deadline for shipping the old device; and
- what happens if inspection finds the device does not match your description.
Save the trade-in quote, photograph the phone before shipping, remove accounts and locks, and keep tracking information until the credit is confirmed.

Fold7 versus Flip7
Choose the Fold7 if the larger inner display will replace tablet use, improve document work or make multitasking materially easier. Its high starting price makes the trade-in quote especially important.
Choose the Flip7 if portability, pocketability and a conventional smartphone screen when opened matter more than tablet-style productivity. It has a lower upfront price, but the maximum trade-in credit is also lower.
Should you buy now or wait for Black Friday?
As of August 18, 2026, Black Friday 2026 offers have not been confirmed. Black Friday is November 27, followed by Cyber Monday on November 30. Samsung and retailers may launch promotions during the broader Black Friday season, and 2025 coverage suggests some strong foldable prices appeared before the Friday itself.
Buy before Black Friday if the live offer gives you an unusually high trade-in value, a substantial no-trade-in discount, a storage upgrade you genuinely need or a confirmed price that is better than the value of waiting.

Wait if the current offer is only an ordinary trade-in headline, you have a valuable device to exchange and can tolerate limited color or storage availability.
Do not treat a 2025 Black Friday price as a promise for 2026. Record the model, storage, advertised discount, effective price, conditions and expiration date whenever you compare offers.

- Is the offer actually dated for Black Friday season, or is older sale branding being reused?
- Is the price for a new, open-box, refurbished or certified renewed phone?
- Is the phone unlocked, or tied to a carrier?
- Does the headline include a trade-in, gift card, storage upgrade or several separate incentives?
- What is the exact storage tier and color?
- Are activation, financing, plan or number-porting requirements involved?
- Will leaving the carrier cancel future bill credits?
- What condition must the traded device be in?
- When must the old phone be shipped?
- What are the return, warranty and cancellation terms?
- Is the advertised stock still available?
Verdict
The best Galaxy Z Black Friday offer will depend on the buying path, not the largest number in the headline. Samsung is likely to be strongest for an unlocked Fold7 or Flip7 with a high-value trade-in. Best Buy may be attractive for pickup or a usable gift card. A carrier can win on device price only when its plan and bill-credit commitment fit your situation. For shoppers without a strong trade-in, a no-trade-in discount or certified renewed model may be more valuable than “up to $1,000 off.”
For now, treat the Fold7’s $1,000 figure as a verified example of Samsung’s maximum trade-in structure—not as a confirmed Black Friday 2026 price.
