Samsung named Amazon and Samsung.com among the Galaxy S25 Edge’s preorder retailers, and the phone went on general sale on May 30, 2025. Samsung’s US unlocked MSRP is $1,099.99 for 256GB or $1,219.99 for 512GB, before any trade-in or seller-specific promotion.
Where can you buy the Galaxy S25 Edge?
Samsung’s launch announcement said preorders opened May 12, 2025, at Amazon, Best Buy, Samsung.com and carriers nationwide, with general availability starting May 30, 2025. Samsung’s US product page currently offers a Buy now path.
Amazon’s live price, inventory, seller and delivery estimate can change. Check the listing before ordering, confirm it is the storage size and unlocked model you want, and review who is selling and shipping it. To search Amazon, use the specific phrase “Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge 256GB unlocked smartphone.”
How much do the unlocked models cost?

| 256GB | $1,099.99 | Base model |
| 512GB | $1,219.99 | $120 more than 256GB |
The figures are Samsung’s US MSRPs, not guaranteed current Amazon or Samsung checkout prices. The Samsung product page lists a starting price of $1,099.99 before trade-in; trade-in credits, promotions, taxes and seller offers may affect what you pay.
Should you choose 256GB or 512GB?
The key confirmed difference in Samsung’s materials is capacity and price. The cited product specifications describe the same Galaxy S25 Edge platform, rather than a different core hardware configuration for the larger-storage option.

- Ideal for a bookworm
- Compact for travelling
- Choose 256GB if it comfortably fits your expected apps, photos, videos and downloads; it has the lower MSRP.
- Choose 512GB if you routinely keep large media libraries or video files on your phone and want more built-in space. Samsung’s US MSRP is $120 higher, though a live seller promotion could change the price gap.
Samsung’s launch announcement lists storage-specific pricing, while its March 2026 MSRP document also identifies prices by color variant. Check the selected color and storage at checkout because availability and current offers can differ by seller.

The Galaxy S25 Edge’s defining physical feature is its slim build: Samsung lists it at 5.8 mm thick and 163 g. It combines that profile with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 3120 × 1440 resolution and refresh rates up to 120Hz. Samsung specifies a 200MP wide rear camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera, with 2× optical-quality zoom and up to 10× digital zoom. The frame is titanium, and Samsung lists ultra-tough glass and IP68 water and dust resistance.

Those are S25 Edge specifications, not a complete model-by-model comparison with the regular Galaxy S25. The cited Samsung materials do not establish the regular S25’s corresponding dimensions, price or camera configuration, so compare both phones’ current product listings before treating the Edge’s thin design as the only meaningful difference.
