Sadio Mané was estimated to earn €22 million a year at Bayern Munich in the 2022–23 season, equivalent to about €423,077 a week. The amount is a salary estimate, not a figure Bayern publicly confirmed. Mané’s Bayern spell has ended: the DFB records his tenure from 1 July 2022 to 1 August 2023.
How much was Sadio Mané estimated to earn at Bayern?
Capology-derived salary data puts Mané’s Bayern Munich base salary estimate for 2022–23 at €22 million per year, or €423,077 per week. FBref’s Bayern 2022–23 wage table attributes the figures to Capology and lists the same annual and weekly amounts: Capology’s Sadio Mané profile and FBref’s Bayern Munich 2022–23 wage data.
These figures describe an estimated base salary for that season. They do not establish Mané’s take-home pay, an exact contractual wage, or the value of any bonuses.
Was the €22 million salary officially confirmed?
No. Capology states that its salary figures are estimates and are not official. Bayern’s announcement of Mané’s signing confirmed that he had signed a contract through 2025, but did not disclose his salary. SPORT1’s signing report likewise covered the contract and the club’s expectations, not an official wage figure: Bayern’s signing announcement and SPORT1’s report.

When did Mané play for Bayern?
The DFB player record lists Mané at Bayern from 1 July 2022 to 1 August 2023, with 38 appearances across competitions. That makes the €22 million figure a historical estimate for the 2022–23 season, not his current Bayern earnings: DFB’s Sadio Mané record.
How does the transfer fee differ from his salary?
SPORT1 reported that Bayern’s transfer deal involved a €32 million fee, with possible bonuses of up to €9 million. A transfer fee is paid in connection with a player’s move between clubs; it is not the player’s wage. That reported deal amount should therefore not be added to Mané’s salary estimate.
