The admit-card release and exam schedule below are historical; the 2024 card is not for a future exam. Check RSSB’s official website for current recruitment notices.
What the 2024 admit-card notice said
RSSB’s admit-card archive listed the Stenographer and Personal Assistant Grade-II Combined Direct Recruitment Exam 2024. In its notice dated 26 September 2024, the board said candidates could begin checking their allotted exam district and city from 6:00 p.m. that day. Provisional e-admit cards were scheduled to become available from noon on 30 September 2024. These were the dates for the 2024 recruitment, not a current release announcement.
The board said separate printed admit cards would not be sent. Candidates were directed to download the provisional e-admit card online and follow the details printed on their own card, along with any later official notice.
How candidates accessed the district and city information
- Sign in with the candidate’s SSO ID and open the Recruitment Portal.
- Open the notification for the Stenographer and Personal Assistant Grade-II examination.
- Enter the application number, date of birth and captcha to view the allotted exam district or city.
The district-and-city lookup was scheduled to open at 6:00 p.m. on 26 September 2024, according to RSSB’s notice.

How the 2024 e-admit card was downloaded
- Visit the recruitment portal’s admit-card section through the RSSB website or the candidate’s SSO ID.
- Select “Get Admit Card,” then choose the Stenographer and Personal Assistant Grade-II recruitment.
- Enter the application number and date of birth, as directed by the notice, to retrieve the provisional e-admit card.
RSSB said this download would be available from noon on 30 September 2024. The notice also described the process as “Enter Your Application number and DOB.” The board’s 2024 instructions do not guarantee that the old portal page remains active now.

The schedule was published by RSSB for the 2024 examination. Candidates were advised to check their own admit card for their assigned centre and any specific instructions.

RSSB instructed candidates to arrive at the examination centre two hours before their paper’s scheduled start. The centre gate was to close one hour before the start time; the notice said entry would not be allowed after that cutoff. These directions applied to the 2024 exam, and candidates for any current recruitment should use the instructions in its own official notices and admit card.
