What RSSB Prahari recruitment 2024 offered
RSSB Advertisement 17/2024, dated 11 December 2024, invited applications for 803 Prahari posts. The notice divided the vacancies between scheduled and non-scheduled areas:

Application and exam dates
Applications opened on 24 December 2024 and closed on 22 January 2025, according to Scroll.in’s contemporaneous coverage of the RSSB recruitment. The same report gave 9, 11 and 12 April 2025 as the scheduled computer-based test dates. All are historical dates, not a current application or exam schedule.

How the application process worked
The original application was submitted online through the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal. Contemporary instructions described the following sequence; it is provided as a record of the closed process, not as a way to apply now:
- Open the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal and sign in or complete its single-sign-on one-time registration.
- Select the Prahari recruitment application and fill in the requested details.
- Pay the applicable one-time registration fee and submit the application before the deadline.
- Keep a printout of the submitted form for your records.
The portal’s broader recruitment system covers stages such as admit cards, examinations, answer keys, results, document checking and later appointment steps. Its pages and status information can change, so use the current RSSB notice and portal entry for any live recruitment.
Eligibility and application fees
Age summary
Contemporaneous coverage summarized the age range as 18–26 years as of 1 January 2026 and noted upper-age relaxations for reserved categories. The applicable category rules and exceptions depend on the full notification; this summary is not a substitute for checking those provisions.

Confirm the category definition and amount applicable to an individual case in the official notice and portal rather than relying on a broad category summary.
Written exam pattern and subjects
The syllabus material attributed to RSSB and reproduced by ResultBharat.com described a two-hour objective written exam with 100 questions for 400 marks. Its subject distribution and scoring were:

- Each correct answer was worth four marks.
- Each incorrect answer incurred a one-mark deduction.

For any later recruitment, rely on that notice’s own syllabus and marking rules; a prior exam pattern is not proof that a future notification will use the same scheme.

For a new Prahari notification or updates to the 2024–25 recruitment, check RSSB’s official notices and the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal. Look for the advertisement number and dates on the notice itself, and verify eligibility, fees, vacancies, syllabus and application status there. Do not treat search results or the expired 2024 application instructions as evidence that applications are open.
