What the original 2025 announcement said
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) Advertisement No. 02/2025, dated February 20, 2025, initially advertised 2,020 Patwari posts for the Revenue Board, Ajmer. The available copy is a third-party-hosted reproduction of the board notice, not an RSSB-hosted copy: Advertisement No. 02/2025 reproduction.
The reproduced advertisement invited applications from candidates declared eligible in the Common Eligibility Test (Graduate Level) 2024. It is not sufficient on its own to confirm every eligibility rule or application requirement; consult the complete official advertisement and subsequent RSSB amendments for those details.
Application dates: the window has closed
Contemporaneous reporting states that applications opened on February 22, 2025 and closed on March 23, 2025. These are historical dates, not an active application period. Scroll.in reported the dates in its coverage: Patwari recruitment application dates.

Vacancies and examination date changed
The original 2,020-post announcement was followed by a revised total. RSSB’s December 2025 result notice states that 3,705 posts were advertised: 3,183 for non-scheduled areas and 522 for scheduled areas. It also records an amendment dated June 20, 2025. The later official figure should not be mistaken for the number in the original February advertisement.

RSSB’s revised examination calendar listed May 11 as the planned exam date and August 11 as a tentative date for the pre-document-verification merit list: RSSB revised examination calendar. The later result notice confirms that the exam actually took place on August 17, in morning and evening shifts, superseding that planned date: RSSB Patwari result notice.
What happened after the examination
- December 3, 2025: RSSB issued a first result list, according to the result notice.
- December 8–10, 2025: RSSB reopened application-cum-scrutiny forms for listed candidates required to undergo document verification. The separate notice identifies the recruitment and gives this short submission window: RSSB scrutiny-form notice dated December 8, 2025.
These notices document the result-list and scrutiny stages. They do not establish that appointments were completed or that candidates joined.

The appointment and joining status as of October 8, 2026 is not established by the notices cited here. For a current decision, check the latest notices on the RSSB website and the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal. Look for a notice specifically about final selection, appointment orders, or joining rather than treating a result or scrutiny notice as proof that recruitment is complete.
