The 2024 Rajasthan Clerk Grade II and Junior Assistant application window is closed. It ran from February 20 through March 20, 2024, for 4,197 posts. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB, formerly RSMSSB) archive records later exam notices, question papers, answer keys and typing-test instructions, so this is a completed recruitment cycle—not an open call for applications.
What the 2024 notification covered
Contemporaneous reporting put the recruitment total at 4,197 vacancies: 584 Clerk Grade I posts, 61 Clerk Grade II posts and 3,552 Junior Assistant posts. The application period was February 20 to March 20, 2024; those dates are historical, and applications for this cycle are no longer open. Scroll.in reported the vacancy totals and application start date, while The Indian Express reported the application window and additional vacancy details.
The Indian Express account identifies 645 non-TSP Clerk Grade II posts and, for Junior Assistant, 764 TSP and 2,788 non-TSP posts. It reports no TSP Clerk Grade II posts. These figures describe the reported category split; consult the official advertisement and amendments for the controlling post-wise details.
Eligibility: check the original advertisement
A contemporaneous Indian Express summary said candidates needed to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board, know Devanagari script and Rajasthani culture, and hold a CCC or O Level computer credential. It also said candidates with 10+2 computer studies or a computer science and engineering diploma did not need the listed certificate.

- Open the original advertisement and any amendments to verify eligibility, vacancy details and procedural rules.
- For exam preparation or review, use the official Paper I and Paper II master question papers and primary answer keys listed in the archive.
- If checking a candidate’s progress, locate the relevant qualifying list, typing-test notice or later official order rather than relying on the archive headline alone.
Secondary news reports are useful for understanding the announcement as it was reported in February 2024. Official RSSB notices should control decisions about eligibility, examination stages and candidate status. Because recruitment status may change through later orders, check the latest RSSB notice before acting on any current-status claim.
