Is the RRB Technician application still open?
No. The Railway Recruitment Boards’ CEN 02/2025 application window ran from 28 June through 28 July 2025. The notice said, “Applications complete in all respects must be submitted ONLINE ONLY latest by 23.59 hours of 28.07.2025.” That was the deadline for the 2025 cycle, not a current invitation to apply. Recruitment activity continued after applications closed. The RRB Chandigarh CEN 02/2025 page lists a Technician-1 CBT result notice, along with cut-off and score-card information, dated 21 May 2026. Candidates following this cycle should check official RRB websites for notices relevant to their region and status. Where to find details for a future RRB Technician opening
A future application period requires a new official notification; the closed CEN 02/2025 application link should not be treated as live. When a new notice is issued, use the official RRB website and read the detailed notification before applying. For CEN 02/2025, the notice directed candidates to Annexure A for post-wise qualifications and medical standards, Annexure B for RRB and railway-zone vacancy details, and Annexure C for merged post categories. It also required candidates to hold the prescribed qualifications by the application closing date; applicants waiting for final results of required qualifications were ineligible under that notice.
