The 2024 exam has passed: CBT-1 was scheduled for November 25–29, 2024, and the Railway Recruitment Boards’ rule made the e-call letter available four days before the exam date shown in the candidate’s city-and-date information. The official term was “e-call letter”; admit card and hall ticket are commonly used search terms.
When was the RRB ALP 2024 admit card available?
The Railway Recruitment Boards scheduled CEN 01/2024 Assistant Loco Pilot CBT-1 for November 25–29, 2024. Under the official schedule, exam city and date information was to be available 10 days before the relevant exam, while the e-call letter was to be downloadable four days before the exam date shown in that information. Availability therefore depended on the candidate’s assigned date, rather than one universal release moment. RRB tentative exam schedule, November 1, 2024.

Scroll.in reported on November 21, 2024, that the admit card was releasing that day. That date aligns with the four-day rule for candidates scheduled on the first CBT-1 date, November 25; it should not be read as the release date for every candidate. RRB Chandigarh’s recruitment page lists an e-call-letter link dated November 15, but that listing does not establish that every candidate could download a letter on that date. Scroll.in’s November 21 report and the RRB Chandigarh CEN 01/2024 page provide the historical context.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.City intimation and the e-call letter were different
The exam city/date information was a preliminary notice with the candidate’s exam city and date. The e-call letter was a separate download governed by the four-days-before timing rule. A city-intimation link or notice was not itself the e-call letter.

The 2024 CBT-1 schedule and download window are historical. For any current recruitment, use the relevant official RRB recruitment page and its latest notices; do not rely on old third-party links or assume the 2024 process dates apply.
