What is Faaaa-tthheerr!!?
Faaaa-tthheerr!! is a hazy IPA from Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. In a review published on 10 October 2025, PerthNow’s Dave Friedlos said the brewers described it as “unhinged.” Its IT Crowd-inspired can design was credited to Adam Nielsen.
Friedlos reported pineapple, grapefruit, mango and apple among the beer’s fruit notes, alongside lactose, vanilla, cinnamon and spices. He described the base as silky malt with Australian hops. The fruit-salad phrase is a vivid summary of that reported mix, not a formal style or ingredient designation.
How does the beer taste, according to the review?
Friedlos described a hazy golden-orange pour with a soft, creamy head. He noted aromas of mango, pineapple and stewed apple, with vanilla sweetness. On the palate, his review characterized the first sip as juicy and hop-forward, with some bitterness and a sweeter, smooth finish. Can you get Faaaa-tthheerr!! at Rocky Ridge Burswood now?
Current availability is not confirmed by the available venue information. Rocky Ridge’s Burswood page says the venue has 40 beers on tap and that the selection is refreshed regularly. Its March 2026 menu lists beers including Jindong Juicy, Rock Candy, Ace IPA and Cali IPA, but not Faaaa-tthheerr!!. Because the taps change, the menu’s omission does not establish that the beer is unavailable; check with the venue for the latest list.

Rocky Ridge opened its Burswood brewhouse at the Goodwood Parade site, previously occupied by Blasta Brewing and Fox Fridays. The brewery’s announcement described it as its latest venue and second Perth home base at the time, with plans for core beers, limited releases, experimental brews, gigs, functions and events. Co-founder Hamish Coates said, “Opening a venue south of the river had always been in our long-term plans – but definitely as something for further down the track,” explaining that the site became available earlier than expected.
