RIMC July 2025 application deadline and exam date
The July 2025 term’s registration period has ended. Scroll’s September 24, 2024 report gave September 30, 2024 as the application deadline and December 1, 2024 as the exam date. A later Scroll report documented an extension of the application deadline to October 10, 2024. The extended date, not the initial September date, was the final deadline reported for that cycle. Scroll.in reported the extension; a government listing also identified a last-date extension.

The application procedure and eligibility rules for that cycle are historical, not instructions for a current application. In particular, do not use the 2024 paper-form process, fees or age window to apply for a later term.
How to apply for the next stated RIMC cycle
RIMC identifies the December 2026 examination as the cycle for admission to the July 2027 term. Its current guidance says applications are to be made online through NTA. RIMC says no hard-copy application is required and forms will not be available through RIMC or state authorities.

- Open RIMC’s official admission information and the NTA portal linked from the applicable notice.
- Read the notification for the relevant term, including its registration dates, age cut-off dates, eligibility conditions and examination instructions. The exact closing date for the December 2026 examination cycle is not established here.
- Complete the online application through NTA within the dates in that notification.
- Upload the required scanned documents and keep a copy of the submitted form and any confirmation or payment record issued by the portal.
- Check RIMC and NTA notices for subsequent updates, including examination notifications and admit-card information.
RIMC’s admission page, its December 2026 onwards flash notice and the official prospectus are the places to verify the live procedure. Use the portal and dates named in the applicable notice; do not assume a registration link or deadline from an earlier cycle remains valid.
Eligibility for the December 2026 exam cycle
RIMC’s current admission guidance describes admission to Class VIII. Applicants should be studying in Class VII or have passed Class VII at the time of joining. For the December 2026 examination cycle, RIMC states a revised age range of 12½ to 14 years. The precise date-of-birth limits must be taken from the official notification for the cycle; the age range alone is not enough to determine eligibility.
These criteria differ from the July 2025 term’s historical requirements. A Delhi Directorate of Education notice for that term described the academic requirement as studying in or having passed Class VII and gave an age window of at least 11½ but under 13 years on July 1, 2025. Those dates apply only to that past admission cycle.

- School studying certificate
- Scanned signature
- Left-hand thumb impression
- SC/ST category certificate, if applicable
- Serving certificate for a Central Government employee, where the candidate seeks to take the examination from the employee’s current posting location
