Where is Rimac’s new headquarters?
The Rimac Campus is on the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia. Rimac’s existing headquarters are in Sveta Nedelja, and the company describes the new development as its campus and long-term home. The project was designed by Croatian architecture firm 3LHD. Rimac’s 2021 design announcement described a 200,000 m² site with 100,000 m² of planned built space.
How much did the Rimac Campus cost?
The cost figures refer to different points in the project and should not be treated as interchangeable. In November 2021, Rimac announced a €200 million campus investment. In October 2024, it reported €120 million invested to that point and expected the final investment to exceed €300 million after phase two. Rimac presented these as company project figures; the official announcements do not establish an independently audited final cost.
The $224 million amount in the original headline is not corroborated by those official updates. The sources do not explain its basis, so it cannot be presented as a verified total or converted into a comparable project figure without a dated exchange-rate source.

Is the Rimac Campus finished?
Rimac’s October 18, 2024 update said construction of phase one was complete and production was underway. The company said phase one covered around 70% of the campus site and included a 75,000 m² production facility. That update did not say the entire campus was complete: phase two remained part of the plan, and the forecast investment above €300 million was tied to its completion. Rimac’s October 2024 campus update is the latest completion status established here; it does not verify the campus’s status after that date.
In 2021, the company had projected construction would start later that year and finish in 2023. Those were forecasts, not the final delivery schedule. The dated 2024 update is the stronger basis for describing actual progress.

What happens at the campus?
The campus combines Bugatti Rimac hypercar development and production with Rimac Technology research, development and production. Rimac’s October 2024 announcement listed Nevera and Nevera R assembly alongside prototypes, composites, CNC machining, upholstery, paint and battery projects. It is therefore a manufacturing and engineering site as well as the group’s headquarters.

As of its October 2024 announcement, Rimac said 400 employees were already working at the campus, out of more than 1,500 Rimac employees in Croatia. It described the completed campus as having capacity for 2,500 employees. These are company-reported figures published at that time, not a verified current headcount.
