Reperio Health Raises $14 Million to Expand At-Home Screening and Virtual Care

Reperio Health raised $14 million to expand its screening-kit and virtual-care model. The kits and clinician network have different coverage realities, and the company’s traction figures remain self-reported.

Reperio Health announced on May 19, 2025, that it had closed a $14 million funding round led by Nashville-based Caduceus Capital Partners. The company said it would use the money to expand its at-home preventive-screening and ReperioCare virtual-consultation services. The distinction matters: Reperio said its screening kits were available in all 50 states, while clinician access was still being expanded state by state.

What the $14 million round funds

Reperio described the financing as support for scaling ReperioCare, expanding employer and health-plan partnerships, and extending virtual clinician access nationwide. The announcement did not disclose the company’s valuation, the round’s structure, a complete investor list, revenue, profitability, or customer concentration. Reperio’s May 2025 announcement is the source for the amount, lead investor, and stated use of proceeds.

The raise is best understood as funding a broader preventive-care service, not simply more shipments of a physical kit. National clinician coverage requires more than shipping: providers must be licensed and available in each state, and the company must build payer and employer arrangements, eligibility processes, billing operations, and clinical escalation workflows.

What Reperio sells

ReperioKit: an at-home screening workflow

Reperio mails a kit containing Bluetooth-connected devices and guides users through measurements in an app. The company says the kit provides results for blood pressure, heart rate, body mass index, relative fat mass, blood glucose, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. Reperio describes the devices as FDA-cleared; that claim applies to devices, not necessarily to the complete Reperio service or every element of its workflow.

The company said the screening itself takes less than 30 minutes in its 2025 funding announcement. Its current website describes the full journey, including the virtual visit, as roughly an hour. These are company-reported estimates, not independent time studies. Reperio also says devices are returned for reuse; GeekWire reported that they are sterilized before reuse. GeekWire’s account of the funding describes the kit and return process.

ReperioCare: clinician review and follow-up

ReperioCare is the virtual-care layer. In the company’s described workflow, a user completes the screening, sees results in the app, and then has a virtual preventive visit with a licensed provider. That makes the offering closer to at-home preventive screening paired with telehealth than to traditional home health, where nurses or aides visit a patient’s home.

Reperio’s website describes AI-assisted analysis, transcription, SOAP-note generation, and a clinician co-pilot. Those functions should not be confused with autonomous diagnosis: medical interpretation and care decisions remain the clinician’s responsibility. The company also describes its data integration as HIPAA-compliant; that representation is not, by itself, evidence of a particular independent security certification or audit. Reperio’s current website outlines its workflow and technology claims.

Who pays for the service

Reperio’s commercial model is primarily business-to-business or business-to-business-to-consumer. Employers, health plans, providers, and benefits platforms are potential buyers or partners. The company says kits are commonly sponsored by an employer or health plan and usually offered to eligible employees or members without a direct charge to them. Individuals can also inquire through Reperio, and the company has described access for some ICHRA members through Thatch.

“No direct cost” depends on the sponsoring arrangement and eligibility; it does not mean the service is universally free. Reperio’s current website says ReperioCare can be billed as a preventive claim, but coverage and reimbursement depend on the plan, provider, state, member eligibility, and applicable billing rules. The company does not publish a list price on the cited organization demo page; the sales path is a consultation or demo rather than a transparent self-serve checkout. Reperio’s demo page is aimed at organizational buyers.

What Reperio has reported about traction

In its funding announcement, Reperio reported more than 40 launches and thousands of screenings in its first 18 months of commercialization. It also cited a “near-perfect” renewal rate, 95% customer satisfaction, preventive-screening participation increases above 200% among clients, and a claimed return on investment of four to eight times.

These are company-reported figures. The public announcement does not provide the denominators, survey methods, comparison groups, time periods, or financial methodology needed to establish how broadly they apply. For example, a participation increase is difficult to interpret without the starting rate and comparator, while an ROI figure requires knowing whether it counts medical-cost avoidance, productivity, benefit utilization, or modeled savings. The claims are useful indicators of what Reperio says it is achieving, but they are not independently verified evidence of clinical or financial superiority.

Nationwide kit availability is not the same as nationwide care

In an October 14, 2025 update, Reperio said its kit was available in all 50 states and ReperioCare had reached 39 states plus Washington, D.C. The company’s current website now describes ReperioCare as operating in all 50 states. Those statements show how the company’s coverage claims changed over time, but they do not establish independent measures of provider density, appointment availability, payer coverage, or completed visits in each state. The October 2025 expansion announcement gives the 39-state-plus-D.C. figure.

For a buyer or member, “available” can mean several different things: a kit can be shipped, a licensed clinician can serve a patient, a health plan can cover a visit, or a claim can be reimbursed. These are not interchangeable. A national footprint is meaningful only if the relevant service, provider, and payment arrangement are available to the particular population.

Why the expansion is operationally demanding

The kit addresses one barrier to preventive screening: getting a measurement done without coordinating an onsite event or separate clinic visit. The more difficult scale-up is connecting that measurement to timely, appropriate care. Reperio’s model depends on a chain that includes delivery and return logistics, usable readings, clinician availability, state licensure, benefit eligibility, and follow-up when a result requires additional attention.

  • Measurement and confirmation: Self-administered readings depend on correct setup, positioning, sample collection where applicable, and device pairing. A screening result is not necessarily a diagnosis and may need confirmation through laboratory testing or an in-person examination.
  • Abnormal or urgent results: Buyers should understand how technically invalid readings, abnormal measurements, and symptoms requiring urgent evaluation are escalated, and how quickly a clinician responds.
  • Access and usability: The model may be harder for people without a compatible smartphone, reliable internet, or sufficient digital confidence. A focused cardiometabolic panel is not a substitute for a broad physical examination or a comprehensive lab menu.
  • Coverage and administration: State licensure, provider availability, plan design, eligibility checks, contracting, and claims handling can all affect whether a member can complete the virtual-care portion and how it is paid for.
  • Data and AI governance: The service combines biometric and health information with clinician documentation and AI-assisted functions. A prospective buyer should review consent, data retention, secondary use, security controls, subcontractors, and whether data is used to train or improve AI systems.
  • Reusable equipment: Return shipping, sanitation, loss, damage, and turnaround times can affect both operations and economics. Public materials cited here do not establish those costs or return rates.

Later developments and what they do—and do not—show

In its October 2025 expansion announcement, Reperio said it had added former Optum executive Larry Cohen to its health-plan advisory group and appointed Jocelyne Wood senior vice president of provider and health-plan operations. Those roles are consistent with the licensing, network, and payer work required for expansion, but do not by themselves demonstrate commercial scale.

Reperio’s press archive lists a 2026 partnership with Amazon One Medical involving at-home screenings and ongoing care. The archive establishes that the partnership was announced; it does not establish patient volume, revenue contribution, exclusivity, or the arrangement’s availability to other partners. Reperio’s press archive lists the later announcements.

Questions employers and health plans should ask

  • Which specific devices are used, and what FDA clearances apply to each one?
  • Which measurements are performed at home, and are any samples sent to a laboratory?
  • What are the rates of failed tests, invalid readings, repeat measurements, and completed virtual visits?
  • How are abnormal and urgent results escalated, and what service levels apply to clinician response?
  • What percentage of kits are returned, successfully sanitized, and reused?
  • Which states, plans, and member groups are currently eligible for ReperioCare?
  • What does the reported increase of more than 200% in participation mean in absolute terms, and what was the baseline and comparator?
  • How is the four-to-eight-times ROI calculated, and which costs or benefits are included?
  • What are the per-member or per-screening costs, implementation fees, minimum population requirements, and renewal terms?
  • What alternatives are available when a member needs in-person care, confirmatory laboratory testing, or help completing the kit?

Buyers should also compare the service against the workflow they actually need. Traditional laboratory networks may be more suitable when broad test menus and established specimen infrastructure are priorities; onsite biometric vendors may fit employers with accessible workforces and strong event participation; standalone telehealth may suffice when screening results already exist. These are different categories, not direct equivalents, and scope, pricing, coverage, and clinical processes should be checked for each vendor.
