Renee Gracie’s racing comeback and her attempt to regain a V8 seat are not the same thing. Her documented return to competition came in 2023 in GT World Challenge Australia; Revealed – Renee Gracie: Fireproof follows her life and her effort to get back into V8 racing. The 2024 Stan Original also traces her earlier motorsport career and transition to OnlyFans.
Why did Renee Gracie leave V8 Supercars?
Stan’s March 2023 announcement says Gracie retired from motorsport in 2017 and frames the documentary around her effort to re-enter V8 racing. The available sources establish that timeline, but do not establish that she was “booted” or provide a verified account of the circumstances behind her departure. That headline wording should therefore be treated as a characterization, not a confirmed explanation.

Gracie’s path to V8 racing began in go-karts and Australian circuit racing. In her account of the film, she describes the story as moving from go-karts into V8, then through her transition into OnlyFans and her return to motorsport. The documentary presents that personal journey; it should not be confused with an independently verified account of every career decision.

This was a return to racing, but it does not establish that Gracie rejoined the Supercars championship. GT World Challenge Australia and V8 Supercars are distinct competition contexts; the documentary’s V8 storyline concerns her attempt to regain a V8 seat.
