What ReliaQuest announced
The financing was announced March 31, 2025. ReliaQuest described it as a growth funding round of more than $500 million and said the round valued the company at $3.4 billion. Those are the terms disclosed for this private financing; the valuation is not a public-market share price or evidence that investors can buy the company at that value.
Who invested in the round?
EQT Growth joined existing investors KKR and FTV Capital as leads. Ten Eleven Ventures and Finback Investment Partners also participated. The announcement identifies these investors and their roles, but does not disclose individual contributions or other financing terms.
What does ReliaQuest do?
ReliaQuest sells GreyMatter, an enterprise security operations platform. The company says GreyMatter connects with more than 200 cybersecurity tools and supports threat detection, investigation, containment and response. These integration and capability descriptions are ReliaQuest’s statements, not independently verified performance results.

What does ReliaQuest plan to do with the money?
The company said the funding would support continued growth, further work on agentic AI-driven cybersecurity automation and international expansion. Its founder and CEO, Brian Murphy, framed the investment around the challenges facing enterprise security teams and the company’s approach:
“Everything we have done at ReliaQuest has always been driven by the problem we solve for our customers. Enterprise security teams have more data in more places than ever before, and the speed of the threat is rapidly increasing. CISOs need a way to contain threats within minutes without added cost or technical overhead, leveraging the latest innovations in Agentic AI.”
This is Murphy’s rationale and product positioning; it does not independently establish that threats are accelerating or that GreyMatter achieves containment within minutes.
